Product description Famous in the 60s and 70s the Watneys Party Seven is back! The all new Party Seven is a 4.2% pale ale. It has a rich citrus aroma, a biscuit malt base and a lasting bitterness. It's a brand new recipe, and a brand new tap, so no more explosions as you hit it with a hammer and nail! Our craft pale ale is unfiltered and unpasteurised and left in the fermenting tank to mature for three weeks before we lightly carbonate it and carefully can it, to ensure the best quality beer. No party was without the Party Seven back in the day and millions of people have great memories of times spent puncturing holes in the can and wiping beer off the ceiling! It did however get its fair share of stick for the quality of the beer so we have gone to great lengths to make sure that the best and freshest ingredients go into the new Party Seven. If you are eating at home with the Party Seven try to avoid too much spice or salt as this brings out the bitterness even more, and it already has a dry bitter finish to the beer which our drinkers love. Go for chicken wings, pork pie or scotch egg for a snack, or eat it with a mild curry or Fish and Chips. Directions Chill before opening. Disappointing
As I remember this from the 70 /80's thought I'd give it a try. Taste was not bad but I thought tasted a bit watery. Other than that was disappointed with the barrel the beer didn't flow as it should unless you shook the barrel up.

Perfect Party Seven
Since Watneys re-launch have tried and throughly enjoyed a few of the different lagers and ale brands. This, like the others, is delicious and moreish. All with the bonus of the iconic Party Seven packaging. Throughly recommended.

An old favourite, stylishly updated
Much better quality beer than I remember it being from the 1970s, and a lot easier and safer to get into. Not a particularly cheap pint, by the time you've included postage, but brilliant for Christmas.

Good Value
Liked the design - very retro. Bought as a present for my son and he really liked it. Found it good value for money too.
