Larsen HL1 Natural History - Triassic Period to Today, Swedish Edition, 85 Piece Boxless Tray & Frame Jigsaw Puzzle

This was for my 4 year olds birthday. He loves it and completes it over and over!It’s great because the pieces are of an unusual shape, a bit different to a normal puzzle.

My young grandson loves dinosaurs, and loves jigsaws, so this product looked perfect, and therein lies the problem. It looks better than it actually is. I accept that I should have read the product details better, but what I received wasn’t actually what I was hoping for.When it says “Boxless Tray & Frame Jigsaw”, take note. Without a box containing the pieces storing the jigsaw safely without losing any piece becomes a problem, and we ended up looking for a suitable box. Without the traditional straight edges of a regular jigsaw, its more of a fill in the missing gaps type toy.Of all the jigsaws my grandson plays with this one is the least played with.The labelling of the product is clear, it’s just wasn’t what I expected.
