I was worried about how many wireless connections were being made from devices in the home including our ever increasing number of WiFi smart plugs.. Our ISP informed we had too many devices connected to the WiFi that was affecting our internet connection. These manual timer plug sockets were perfect as they can be easily programmed on a regular routine basis. We have used these for Aquarium lights, grow lights etc.

aww modern technology i will never use a manual push lin mechanical timer again these run percect has battery backup in case of power outage. clock timer stays on when power off no need to resst omce you got it where you want it... good investment... never gets stuck.

I purchased these for my young children, as we connect them to nightlights in order to show them when its okay to get up, since they can't read a clock yet. These are the BEST timers I've ever gotten for this purpose. Just set them and go.How to use this:The theory of using this is pretty simple. To have it always on, press the button that says "ON/AUTO/OFF" until the screen displays "ON" at the bottom. AUTO will use the timers and OFF is just that, but not sure when you will need this option.To set up timers:Press PROG. When you press it, the first screen will be program 1 (total of 8) - ON option is first: set the time you want it to turn on by pressing HOUR to set the hour and MIN for minutes. Press WEEK to set specific days (defaults to every day at first). Once you set when it turns on, press PROG again to now set when to turn off. Press PROG auto continue through the rest of the 8 total programs in the same fashion if you wish. Or press CLOCK to go back to the screen that displays the clock. To activate timers, make sure it is on AUTO (as described above). This is where I had issues... If the timers do not work, reset and try again. I've had to do this a few times on both units so it was not very funIt does work really well and reliably. I've never had any issues. I love that it still remembers the time when the power goes out. And that on certain days of the week you can schedule it differently. I would certainly recommend this programmable timer....

Some reliability question.Some reason, I am still trying to get, the timer resets to factory settings (all timers are empty). It happened twice and I am not ready to provide the cause right now. The first time it should be recharge (the internal battery).In 1 month I will return to this review for update.

I have a Volt 12 volt lighting transformer mounted in the garage which runs all the outside lighting. The Volt transformer is very nicely made - even has a power socket and plug inside the cabinet to let you swap timers if needed, instead of having to pitch the entire transformer if the timer dies. The older electronic digital timer I was using was always a PITA to program, to swap between daylight savings time and real time, and was about 5 years old. So this year at Daylight Savings I decided to try a new timer.

Very good and useful but need more time to check the reliability

Love this product, it is perfect when you need something put on timer like lights for example.Can be a bit complicated when using first time to set the times but fine once you have done the first one. Also there is an easy way to change them when the clocks change. I figured out and tuned without instructions.Feels better quality than similar I have seen elsewhere.They are exactly what I wanted.Really recommend!

It took a while to work out the programming, but it works well & quietly.We got 2 pieces (for lights) and initially we got them synced, but a month later & they now start about 5 seconds apart, which isn't an issue but I wish they kept the same timing.Still I would happily by again if I need more timed switches.
