This item is just what I was looking for in order to produce a nice range of camera angles for the tutorials of my Arts and Crafts Youtube channel. It is perfect for achieving a top down or over the shoulder first person field of view.Unlike a lot of the other extension arms I was looking at, this one has a good maximum length (36 inches). It is very robust and sturdy, which can make it quick unsteady on a tripod and so you will require some kind of counter weight (especially if like me you are using it with a heavy camera). This particular model does not come with a counter weight included, but is been designed to attach small weight lifting plates which can be locked into place with a bolt (I have just been balancing a weighted bag on the end as a quick fix, which has worked fine).

The actual extension arm is really good and sturdy but the ball head was faulty (the ball head does not lock in place where the ball head attaches to extension arm despite having tightened the ball head which means that there is no way I could secure an angle for even a light phone holder). I had to return the whole item as there is no option to contact seller to send a replacement ball head. For the £50 I paid I had expected all the parts to work.

Substantial and well made item, perfect for my use with IPhone 12 Pro Max.

Perfect for overhead photography or filming. Used it with my Canon M50 and balanced this with 2 bottles of water in a bag on the end. Attaches to the tripod with ease.Only downside is that it doesn't come with its own carry bag, it has to go back in the box, which isn't even a tuck box. But alas, it's perfect otherwise.

Just received the product. Feels heavy and strongly built, looks very promising. Planning to do some overhead shots with it this weekend, and write an update after. The arm is extendable which I was looking for, so even if Im shooting in the middle of a big table I can position the camera perfectly.

Ordered this camera stand from Glide Gear for ₹4900 but the quality is terrible, the camera stand is broken and very lose. It cannot hold any phone in place. Horrible experience and extremely bad quality.

It has all the features they say and it feels of good quality. Overall it is a great purchase. The only 2 downsides that I can think of are:1- The included ball head is not as good as others I've seen, feels a bit too plasticky and it is not as versatile as others I've seen. Though it can hold a camera easily. Luckily it uses a standard screw so it can be replaced for a better one if you want.2- The tripod has to be VERY sturdy to hold the mount in a stable way. My tripod is definitely not, so I may need to get a better tripod. A better tripod is normally also heavier, so it may be a downside for those thinking about moving around with this mount. Also, the better the tripod is, the lesser counterweight you will need, so basically you are doomed to carry a heavy load, even if you have a lightweight tripod. This is not exactly a downside for this product, but more of a warning to keep in mind before purchasing it.Overall it is an great thing to have, very versatile and good quality for the price.

Item arrived quickly and well packed. Easy to assemble and even with no additional counterweight, holds my Nikon D780 and 105mm macro lens well. Will definitely do the job required so I can do photography above my items.

This is a nicely built product that I've using extensively now for nearly a year. My only issue with it is that the provided camera mount to ball joint is too short for the kind of quick releases that I'm using (Manfrotto) and often interferes with the ball joint handle. I modified mine to add an extra half inch and the issue is gone. I'm using this to get deep within the scene's of a huge (2k square feet) train layout for focus stacked shots that would be impossible to get without a sturdy rig to hold my XT4 firmly. This extension arm is mounted on a tripod gear head for precise positioning in the scene and I'm using two 5lbs weights (Big 5 Sporting Goods) for counterbalance. I use a remote shutter release since the camera is usually out of reach. After nearly 500 uses, the adjustable parts still lock down tight. Can't imagine not having this now.
