Ampeg secret weapon
Not a cheap pedal, but very sensitive and great eq. My first amp was a 1970 Ampeg Gemini 12. At 14 I thought this is how all tube amps sound. Amazing overdrive, surfy drippy thick spring reverb, Link Wray tremolo. The eq is great. But Ampeg used weird tube types in their amps, not your standard 12ax preamp tubes and 6L6 or 6V6 power tubes, and my Gemini 12 amp didn't make it through my late '70s punk band days. This Catalinbread SFT is the closest thing to that Ampeg overdriven tone I have found, without the problems of a vintage combo amp. Thanks CB for making this! I bought 2!
