Bob's Red Mill 5 Grain Rolled Cereal - 16 oz - 3 pk

I made the cereal for my breakfast and added dried cranberries and chopped walnuts. It was very good and filling. I cooked it a few more minutes than it said on the instructions and will add more salt when fixing this again. My next project is to make multi grain bread with the five grain cereal.

I love this stuff. Living in a cold climate, I eat hot cereal a lot, with oatmeal being the most common. That does get boring after a while, but this cereal adds a welcome taste and texture to my breakfasts. And it's said to be good for you! I haven't tried it in baking yet, but that's next on the list.

I love Bob's red Mill products they are always tasty and healthy.

I use this to make multigrain granola to get a pure product that is low in salt. Recipe: 1 bag of Bobs Red Mill Multigrain cereal, two cups of ordinary plain oatmeal such as Quaker Oats, 1 1/2 cups chopped unsalted almonds, 3/4 cup pure maple syrup, 3/4 cup oil, pinch of salt, teaspoon of vanilla. Stir liquids and salt together briskly and massage the liquids into the grain and almonds, spread in a large baking sheet, bake at 375 degrees. Stir every 12 minutes until well browned and toasty. I add the oatmeal because my husband finds it to hard to chew otherwise. You could just use more multigrain cereal. Since it has oil in it, I store it in the refrigerator.

I have been a consumer of Bob's Red Mill products for several years. I am always impressed by the quality of everything that I have used. All of the hot cereals find a place on my table. And this is my grand kids favorite. I add a squirt of honey or maple syrup.

Product was outdated and I returned for refund.

I like the product and order it regularly. My complaint is about the vendor who was selling it. Was a box of four and had been opened to make.it a box of three. Broke two of the three bags trying to carefully open the box. Would not buy from this vendor again
