Easy to follow pattern, plenty of thread leftover. Just needs washed now to remove the printed pattern.

Lovely cross stitch on printed aida. Easy to do. Can not wait to get going.

I have not opened this kit as I have bought it to go with other cross stitch related items to give to my niece at Christmas. It cost about the same as other similar kits available on Amazon but I really liked the giraffe. The negative is that it was sent minus any packaging which meant the kit had a big address label stuck to the clear plastic contents bag! I have tried to remove it but it has left an absolute mess! Not a good look for a gift!

Very easy to use

Looks like a challenge! Beginner and slightly dubious. Majority of the instructions are in Polish which is crazy!! The only bit in English is the types of stitches, but it doesn't tell you where the different stitches are needed! Wish me luck, think Google will be used a lot to figure it out!!

I didn't realise the canvas would be printed, probably my mistake not reading description. Printing on canvas makes it easy to select the colour and follow the pattern, I've only ever done much smaller pieces in which the stitches need to be counted. Broken English instructions say to soak the finished piece in hot water to remove the printing, I'm a little sceptical of this but will test a small area. The printing can be seen through some of the lighter coloured stitches. Good kit for the money with 2 needles, handy threader tool and a pair of very sharp snippers. I would ideally use an embroidery hoop as it's a large canvas, shame this wasn't included. The size would perhaps be overwhelming to a total novice, as the instructions on how to stitch are not overly clear. Perfect for keeping me entertained for the last few weeks of lockdown!

Great product at a great price. Arrived the next day. I would say however that the design needs to be stitched with 4 threads instead 3. When stitched with 3 threads as per instructions, you can see the darker colours printed on the fabric. I found that I had enough threads (so far anyway ) to be able to stitch using 4 threads and now I can't see the printing on the fabric. Also the background comes with grid lines, so you need to stitch the whole background too, I'm not convinced that there is enough white thread to be able to do this, so using my own stash of DMC white.

We absolutely love this cross stitch kit. Great easy enough to follow instructions. Wouldn't exactly say it's for beginners though. Takes a small bit too figure out the code for colours. But then we realised they have contrasting colours on pattern so you can see where you have been stitching. Some of the holes on pattern need pre prodding..But only a few!.Still a work in progress with us, But would definitely recommend.
