This tape measure is indispensable when extremely accurate measurements are needed (in between 32nds or 64ths) as you can simply mark the exact measurement on the blank side with a pencil. Easily erases off when you’re done! Brilliant. This level of accuracy isn’t necessary if all you do is rough framing, but for building furniture it’s a fantastic feature.

I really dig this tape. I often write on my tape measures, but the Story Pole feature is brilliant. It's way easier to see, and you can actually write labels next to the marks, which would be difficult to read on a traditional tape.The momentary trigger lock on the bottom is super intuitive to use, but if I have any gripe, it's that the thumb lock is very stiff to engage, at least on the first few uses.

This is a great tape measure. The tape is very easy to read, for those of us that have older eyes. The accuracy of the scale is extremely helpful and a time saver. This is the perfect tape measure for fine carpentry, molding, trim, cabinets, etc. However the only reason I could not give it 5 stars, it is a little flimsy. The case is very rugged, however the tape itself it very light weight, and the return (or recoil) spring inside is already not retracting very well, after only one long day of use. This will have to be a second or third tape measure in your tool kit, it is simply not as rugged as a Stanley, and if I was doing work on a roof, or a tall ladder a few drops I would worry would simply ruin it. I fully recommend buying, but it will not replace all of our tape measures, but a great addition.
