Ocarina of Time Game Skin for Nintendo 3DS XL Console

Love the Zelda series and love this skin! My 3DS XL looks awesome now and the scratches I had on the top of my system are safely hidden away forever. I would recommend this for anybody lookin' for their system to be cooler than their friends'. It's worth it, especially at the cheap price tag.The product itself is very high quality - thick and tough and not one of those cheap, tear-able kind of stickers. The one flaw I saw was that the image is not quite as crisp and clean as the picture made it seem, but it by no means looks bad. You really have to look closely to see the "graininess" of it and like I say, it looks fine so I didn't even dock a star off the rating. Only the pickiest of people would have a problem with this (think picture quality of a DVD as opposed to a Blueray).A lot of people were complaining about the skin set not including a section for the back of the system, which is true, but I actually prefer it that way for several reasons: A) You rarely look at the back. 2)That's where all the fingers but your thumbs are so it would naturally get grimy over time. C)The back of the system has vital information printed on it that you may need in the case of calling Nintendo for system support and whatnot. Anyway, even if it came with one, I probably wouldn't use it.I'll update in a few weeks and report how it's all holding up (adhesiveness, image smudge, etc).UPDATE: I've had this skin on for a few months now but it's still holding strong. Still love it and it still looks great. On a few of the edges where I happen to position my hands a lot, the sticker is EVER so slightly showing very minor ware, but I would still say it wouldn't be particularly noticable for at least a few years. The image looks as good as ever. Still recommend this.UPDATE 2: You're getting a very in depth review of this product. :) Owned this skin now for 6 months and it's still holding strong. Still on my system, still happy with it. But I just wanted to quickly point out that the upper decal (the one around the top screen) has developed SLIGHT imprints of the circle pad on the left and the letter buttons on the right. At the location where those buttons touch the top decal there are tiny, tiny blemishes. I can see that it is in fact, wearing through the sticker but I also want to point out that it has NOT affected the color or image yet and so they are still hard to spot unless the glare of light is hitting them just right. I'd say I've got a year until it starts to be noticeable.SO...I've written a lot about this pretty simple product because I'm the kinda guy that likes to know EXACTLY what I'm getting when I buy online. So if you are still on the fence about this product...I say GET IT! Still as awesome as ever in my book.

While not completely perfect, this is definitely a quality product, I mainly bought it for protection, and it serves that function well. It goes on relatively easy, just be sure to follow the included instructions exactly. Also if your a Zelda fan, it is of course a great way to accent your system. This seller has some great designs that you can't get anywhere else, so I will definitely keep an on eye on future products.

didnt fit. the cuts didnt line up with my ds

It doesn't cover my entire Ds so the red of my Ds shoes through. And it bubbled up and didn't fit quite right over the keys.

It looks great. It's not easy to put on and the sticker on the hinge wants to peel off. Good product, not a great product.

I put this on the pink 3DS XLIt goes SO well with the pink and white! It was easy to put on and had holes for the mic, and nub/stopper things on top part of the inside of the gameboy (so, when closed, the top rests on the stoppers and not the screen)Follow the directions. I had no problems putting this on and then readjusting, if I had to - make sure you work out air bubbles as you go.It came in a tube, rolled up - I'm glad... no creases from shipping! And the tube was really sturdy! (it's a small tube - about 8") It's not peeling off, and I've had it on the gameboy for a few weeks now :)It looks outstanding! I love the imagery! (I also really love Zelda/Link !! )

I would give it 5 stars if it had a back. I used a clear case to protect the back.

I basically bought this skin to protect my 3ds XL from scratches and also cause I love Zelda. The skin itself is made from good quality material.When putting it on, take your time. It's not too difficult, just be sure to align the holes and buttons correctly or you will find yourself removing it and starting over. I had to start over once but the adhesive seemed not to lose its adherence. I had a few air bubble issues but I seemed to remove them just fine with my fingers (credit cards work great to). With the finished product, it looks pretty damn cool. Remember to go slow when putting it on and have patience.
