Excellent
My dog is a miniature toy poodle and has very high anxiety. Thanks to this invention, we find her to be more relaxed and she sleeps like a baby.

Kitten approved 😻 Just buy it, it's awesome!
This bed did arrive intact, on time and vacuum packed. I probably spent about 6 or 7 minutes spreading apart, with my hands, the soft, "squishy" feeling polyfill under the furry cover. If I felt a gap, I pulled some fill toward it and tried to get the whole bed as even as possible. I did this on the sides and the bottom and every bit of it lofted up very nicely, even the bottom. It's perfectly round even though it doesn't look round. I put this on a cat tree where there's a post in the way on one side.A small is plenty big enough for my 4.5 pound, 13 week old kitten. There's actually enough room on the bottom from seam to seam, that I doubt he'll need a medium as an adult, but we'll see. The black, non skid part underneath the bed measures 16" in diameter and that's where the seams are inside. It looks crowded because it's so fluffy but there's tons of room on the bottom and the sides are soft enough for a cat to hang over if they want to.My boy was a little confused about it for awhile and I was worried he wasn't going to figure out it's a bed. First, he made a few attempts to kill it by disemboweling it but couldn't figure out exactly how to get behind it for a proper attack. Next, he tried to rip the fur out of it with his teeth. I'm guessing he was trying to prepare it to be eaten. I'm very happy to report that I didn't find a single tuft of fur anywhere and he was really trying for about a total of an hour. Finally, he just hopped in and got comfy. After he spent another 5 minutes trying to rip fur out, he started grooming himself, then passed out.I think we're going to be ok now. Oh, and he likes it that the color compliments his hair. 😻

Cat loves it!
I bought this for my geriatric 20-year-old cat who won't have anything to do with it (she prefers the warm, hard stone hearth in front of the fire). Our 2 year old was terrified, she crept around the house hiding behind the sofa, peeking around to see if it was after her and jumped out of her skin if anyone moved suddenly, fleeing outside in terror. If I wanted to scare the cats a cucumber would have been cheaper! (I bought the dark brown one, and wondered whether one of the brighter colors would have helped, so it didn't look like an alien creature curled up on the floor.)The next day we awoke to find the same terrified cat curled up in the bed, sound asleep, as contented as can be. She rarely gets out of it..she spends hours "kneading" the sides like a kitten. Sometimes she's curled up, other times she's sleeping on her back, legs sticking up, out like a light. The sides of the bed wrap themselves around her.My impression: it's amazingly soft. It came vacuum packed in a tiny box (it fit inside our mail box) and when I opened it I was disappointed at first. It did puff up, and the sides are nice and fairly firm. However the center wasn't as puffy as I thought it seemed it should be from the ad. We've only had it for a few days, so haven't washed it yet. I hope it stays as fluffy..I would give it 4 stars for the bottom not being cushier, but my cat says it's perfect and she is giving it 5 stars!I do have one question: are there plans to make this in human sizes? Because I'd sleep in that!

I almost want one for myself!
This bed is soooo soft, and very deep! It's really perfect for my cat Charlie who has some anxiety issues. He fell in love with it pretty quickly and sleeps in it all the time. I've noticed too that he is calmer in the evenings if he is in the bed. He loves to knead at it and curl up in a tight ball. He looks so cozy.It came in a surprisingly small box but that's because it had been vacuum sealed. Fortunately, I knew to expect this from reading the instructions on the Amazon page and the reviews. I can't help if the reviewers that said it was flat and limp didn't know to massage it. When you take it out you have to knead it, massage it until it plumps up. It really doesn't take that much either, it plumped right up. I do think they should have put an instruction sheet with the bed to help avoid the dissappointment they must have felt for thinking they hadn't recieved what they ordered. It is durable, which I really appreciate. If he lays on one side too much, it will kind of flatten, but I just massage it again and it plumps back up again. And it really is very squishy, it's not weak where if he lays on it once it's already flat, it takes a while for that to happen. I love how plushy it actually is, I almost wish I had one for myself. Charlie certainly seems happy with it. He loves it so much I was almost afraid he'd never leave it to come sleep with me at night, I might have been a bit jealous. LOL! But he's still happy to curl up with me. Definitely one of my best purchases for him. I'm so happy it gives him a little extra security and comfort.

Makes Daniela feel at home
Our new arrival Daniela came to us about a week ago from my neighbor's backyard. She's a tiny cat - 8 months old, only 5 pounds and smaller than some of the squirrels in our area - so for the first few days we had to keep her confined to one room whenever we weren't around to monitor her interactions with our medium-sized dog Ace and our big boy cat Mal. Mal has a few different beds so when we first brought her in, I gave her one of his to use at first. She seemed alright with that but I thought it might help her adjust if she had a bed of her own, one that wasn't covered in another cat's smell. Now she alternates between the two beds but she really loves this one. She lazes in it. She kneads it and purrs like crazy. She even sometimes buries herself almost entirely in the little crevice between the rim and the floor (like I said, she's a tiny cat). I'm happy to say all three of our animals have adapted well enough that Daniela now has free reign of most of the house but she still retreats back to her fuzzy grey bed whenever she wants a lay-down.
