Excellent tool
I use this mallet for installing marble and granite slab paving for lobbies. The versatility of weight and mallet faces make this a very useful tool.

A quality woodworking tool for a premium price
Let's be clear - there's much cheaper options that will also get the job done. This is marketed as a well made, high quality tool. In my experience it's lived up to the standard.I've had the Simplex 30 (21oz) for a few months now. It's slightly smaller and lighter than the average American claw hammer. I use it mostly for woodworking. The fit and finish is top notch. Feels good in the hand. And great for precision work, as well as the occasional hard whack.I appreciate the ability to change out the heads out when they get worn. That is particularly likely to happen with the soft blue and gray heads. I didn't think I'd need it, but at the rate I use it it's inevitable at this point. I'll probably swap the gray for a black head instead - similar softness, just harder wearing. The Halder USA website is a good resource to understand the different head types and potential use cases. Highly recommend checking it out if you're unsure which ones would be best for you.

Best Elf Mallet!!
So I’m kind of a tool snob and saw this brand and thought I’d try it out. I bought the 30 not really knowing what size it would be but thought it could be nice for cabinet assembly and install. It’s actually really small. And being so small and so expensive for what it is it usually just sits on my desk so I don’t lose it. Nicely built though.

Quality.
Great Quality. I’m a metal fabricator and sometimes I need a softer hit and this product has performed beautifully.

Best mallet
By far the best mallet I have ever used. Comfort and durability are 2nd to none.

Makes me smile every time I pick it up
Incredible quality!! Love the replaceable faces, and it's a beautifully well balanced tool. It's a spendy mallet, but a joy to use.
