Perfect for my kayak!
Picked up on sale and it was the cheapest option to get running in my kayak with nothing else but the striker 4 unit gifted to me.Works good for my use! Plan on using it ice fishing since it’s a adult moved, battery life is good for my small unit!

Second unit bought
This case is great for the remote fishing trip I take each year. The molded plastic structure is solid and I an confident carrying it around by it's handle. This is the second one I have purchased for the other boat in my group.

Great way to use my fish locator
Once I figured out what I needed, this kit made my Garmin fish finder very portable for taking into Canada. It worked very well up there.

Good fit for my Garmin fishfinder
Fits with my Garmin 7CV. I might have to add some glue or a bolt or something, as I have an older model of fish finder, and the base is loose inside. It all fits and sits together fine, just worried if it dumps overboard with the flap open that the finder might be hanging by the cables.Seems sturdy, and is much easier to access stuff (battery, connections, charger) than my old Humminbird portable.

Nearly perfect
While I love this Portable Fishing Kit, I made some modifications immediately that others might find useful. First, the plastic clip and loop in the zippered top didn't fit each other particularly well, so I had to replace the clip with one that would easily open and close. This combo allows for the top/flap to be rolled up and clipped out of the way while keeping the fishfinder safe in its holder inside the bag. But I like the fact that the zippered top zips from both directions. I think Garmin should modify the kit to make all the zippers bi-directional. That way, if the transducer cable ended at the top of the loop of extra cable, it could exit the side flap from the top rather than the bottom. It would be more efficient to only have to open half the flap rather than the whole thing. Next, I made tethering straps from belt webbing to attach the kit to loops built into my inflatable kayak. Lastly, I would like to see one more secure zippered pocket inside the bag for things like a fishing license or maybe a scaled-down print version of the owner's manual. Not all fishing areas have internet/cell/Wi-Fi service so a safe place to put printed material would be great. I love that the kit comes with the battery needed to power my Striker Plus 4cv Fishfinder, and included the AC charger. Plastic loops at the top of the bag to add a shoulder strap (an optional accessory, of course) would be good to free up one's hands to carry other stuff. Now, if only Garmin could develop the bundle that actually includes everything one would need to use the product out of the box!

Bad battery
Used once with Garmin, then battery would not hold a charge. Replaced battery and works great.Bag is great, battery was horrible!

Compact, easy to assemble, great accessory
Love it. Exactly what I was looking for in order to take the fish finder in either kayak. I don't have fishing kayaks so I don't have a ton of space. This Protects the battery well and provides an awesome portable package to store everything. Recommend!

Super Easy Setup
After spending too much time drawing up diagrams/researching batteries I pulled the trigger on this Garmin setup for a Striker. The cost of building my own would have exceeded the cost of this setup. Saved myself some time and I guess a little money, it works great.
