A book to raise your self-esteem and better than any other self-help book on that subject
An excellent follow-up to the other Madame Chic books. Jennifer L. Scott states the obvious that most of us are too foolish to notice: that how you carry yourself and how you dress impacts not only on your behaviour and also on how others see you. I agree with Jennifer that too many of us act and dress sloppily. We've lost the ability to see how much this actually does matter. I had certainly forgotten, and now I'm pleased to be following Jennifer's advice, especially with regard to the 10 item wardrobe and just making an effort to be neat and tidy, even if I'm just going to the supermarket - it makes life a lot less complicated and a lot more pleasurable. I do everything better when I know I look better because I feel better. I'm now far less likely to make impulse-buys whether for clothes or when food shopping (I stick to my list now). I have far greater self-esteem now!

Good
I like how this book details ways to be poised in ways that you'd expect and other ways. I wish this book series could be part of a class in schools now a days too. To teach how to love how you are and to learn how to raise the bar for oneself. Good book!

Another lovely book!
Another lovely and thought provoking book from Jennifer L. Scott. In this day and age, the world could use more manners, ettiquette and composure. Nice read!

Some of the concepts/themes were repeats from the other books ...
Some of the concepts/themes were repeats from the other books, but it still more than convey the message. Since I have started applying Jennifer's lessons in my own life people treat me quite differently.I still have a bit of difficulty with being mysterious, but I am working on it and it seems that I am becoming more attractive to people.
