The paintings are so beautiful it’s shocking to me.

I’m an artist and I’ve made my own canvases in the past so I’m familiar with canvas quality. These canvases are ok quality. Not the best I’ve seen, but decent. I was worried about the crossbars in the back being really close to the canvas. I thought my brush strokes might make weird marks by hitting the crossbars, but I actually didn’t have a problem with it. The crossbars are really thin though. I sprayed the back of a couple of my canvases with water to tighten them up a bit and that was a bad idea. The crossbars bowed out a little and that compromised the straightness of the sides of the canvas. When I do that with higher quality canvases I don’t have this problem. These aren’t great canvases, but they worked decently for me. I frame all of my artwork so the bowing won’t be noticed, but I will never spray the back of these canvases again.I mainly purchased these because I wanted them to ship free to another state that I was flying to for an art retreat. I painted them, put them back in the same box and mailed them back to myself. I would buy these canvases again if I need them shipped to an art retreat again, but I probably won’t buy them for creating my regular artwork at home.

This had to have happened during the manufacturing process, but all 6 of my 36x36 canvases are off-measurement by just enough to be problematic once I started measuring and taping off parts of the canvas. Though hard to see in the pictures, my T-square clearly shows a significant gap in sizing from one side of the canvas to the other. I measured all 6 and it's a problem on all of them (they all arrived in the same package, so it's not surprising that that they were all affected this way).I'll find a way to make them work, but I can't use them the way I had initially planned, which is disappointing. They'll also end up hanging strangely on a wall once painting is complete.

I can understand many of the reviews from others who say that there order arrived damaged. The packaging wasn't the best. Luckily the canvas were not damaged but I did get some dents in the canvases. Nothing but a little spray bottle with water won't fix and some friction with a cloth helped tighten the canvas. Or if you have a steamer might help those corner dents. I have not painted on them yet and will give a complete review later on after I try them. For the price I paid not bad at all.

I have found my new brand for canvas!My sister is a painter and whenever I commission her to make me something, I will always use these now. Everything she has ever painted me on them looks amazing! Colors come through, Hugh quality canvas material makes it easy to paint on and the high quality makes it great for hanging/longevity!If you use canvas at all, I highly would consider getting this brand if I was you!

Honestly I hadn't realized that the canvas I usually buy is flimsy. The stretcher bars on these are a lot wider and feel sturdier than others, that being said they are heavier but the canvas feels more professional.
