Great little air compressor for around the house
Great little air compressor for around the house, only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is due to the item arriving with a split in the air hose...no biggie, went to Harbor Freight and got a replacement for $3..Performs well!

OK, but not for inflating car tires.
I picked up this package on sale for under $100.00, and would not pay any more for it.The big surprise here, is the brad/staple nailer (blue hawk SGY-NS8) which uses 7/32 crownstaples, not 1/4" as I have seen advertised in some circles, is very smooth, and drives to full depthwith no problem at pressures around 80 PSI for the longer nails/staples.The rest of the kit is complete, although cheap. The compressor is only two gallon, makes a lot of noise on pump up, and should be used for verylight work around the house, and not include pumping up your car or truck tire, as thiswill take forever. If you want to pump up tires, get at least a four gallon dual tank compressor like theCampbell Hausfeld HL5402, which goes for a little more than this little guy does.

The low price ain't worth the hassle.
Pretty decent for small home projects and for the price, but I had problems with the nail gun.The nail gun worked pretty well for about four hours total. IMHO, if you're buying this because it has an included nail gun, look elsewhere. The nail gun stopped working. I assume it jammed. I tried to open the front of the nail gun with the included Allen wrench, but the wrench broke with the try. I tried pliers, but those just slipped on the small and round-headed bolts that hold the front plate onto the air chamber. The pliers only managed to mar the bolt head. I tried using a small blade to work out whatever jam was happening from outside the assembly with zero success. It's almost as if the bolts on the face plate are glued in place. There is no other way to access the air chamber that drives the nails in...though I have not yet tried vice grips.I ended up buying a Bostich gun for $100 and using it with the Blue Hawk compressor. Wish I'd just bought a better compressor sans the cheap nail gun and cheap accessories and went with reliable brands.

Not a great piece of consumer design work
I paid $60 for mine at Lowes about 3 years ago. Doesn't do too badly, for what it is, I also bought a 7 gal reservoir tank to go with it. The problem I encountered is that it uses an aluminum pipe to deliver the air to the tank, which broke after about 2 years. I had to replace it with a steel brake line, compression fittings and a little Dremel work. Additionally, to get to the repair site, I had to remove the plastic shroud, which held the power switch in place, and removing the wires from this switch resulted in the switch coming apart, 2 of the 3 terminals came out with the wires. Not a great piece of consumer design work, but it does build to 120 psi. Just don't expect it to hold up.
