I bought this sewing kit to take traveling in my RV. It was a little big, but I'm a sucker for all the pretty colors of thread. I thought it might be a high quality set because the scissors looked better than other sets. The 5 needle threaders and the self-threading needles sealed the deal--my eyes need all the help they can get!Well, the quality is not great. The scissors barely cut thread. The quality of the pins is weird--some bent, many with a rough film on them. I thought about returning this item, but I still like it. I will replace the scissors. The chalk pencil doesn't work at all--I mean at all. Most items are fine. The stitch markers and buttons and small items are in little cellophane bags that will not last, so I replaced them with small zip top bags from a Japanese dollar store.Some strange things in the description are a small vial of straight pins (marked syringes), and the thing marked "tweezer" is actually a bodkin (which is why people are complaining about the quality of the tweezers). Bodkins are meant to have a toothy end to hold the thing you want to pull through a casing.As I go along, I will replace the things that are important to me. The case fits perfectly in the space I had for it, and I feel prepared to take on most projects. This kit is a good deal for the price. Just add another pair of scissors to your order.

There was so much in this kit! Everything was beautiful and the zipper binder is awesome!

1-The thread keeps breaking,2-the tips of the tweezers are of an irregular shape, so they don t work3-the "thingies" to put the thread on your needle are frail4-the needle points are not pointy enough so you have to work hard to get them through the material.For things with a practical use such as these, I regret not having paid more to get better quality.
