Operating manual for C/F and light inaccurate.
Just received my new travel alarm clock today and was able to readily set the date, time, year, month, day and alarm however I found it annoying to continually flip the clock over front to back repeatedly while depressing and releasing buttons to make my selections. When it came to changing the temperature setting from (Celsius to Fahrenheit) I was unable to locate the C/F key on the back to press as directed in operation manual. My clock is white and if you look very closely (you may need magnification) you will discover a small round opening between the up arrow button and alarm button with C/F in raised white lettering. Since it is the same color as the back of the clock it makes it difficult for my aging eyes to see. It then took me a while to find something small and long enough to insert into the opening to depress in order to change setting from C to F. The owner manual also stated that if you depress the light button it will keep lighting for 5 seconds. It is really closer to 3 seconds. Aside from these set up issues, I look forward to taking my new clock on the road with me.

If you need something like this, this is the one you want.
I've had lots of little clocks over the years. Either they were too bulky to pack, got broken in travel, got left behind, stopped working, or were way to difficult to set without the manual. This clock and temperature gauge is almost perfect for both travel and putting next to your bed. It has a very intuitive user interface for setting the time, date, and Celsius/Fahrenheit option. I never got around to looking at the manual. The orange color helps keep you from forgetting it when you travel, and it's well protected when the bottom part if flipped over the face.I would only change one minor thing about it. I'd make the light last a little longer when you press the button on top. If it's not aimed right at you, the light will go out before you can turn it to read the time or temp.I bought two, one for each side of the bed.

Gets the job done
It does what it says. The only drawback is that the alarm has a very low volume. I'm a light sleeper, so for me it's fine, but it's probably a little too quiet to wake up a heavy sleeper. Also, the function buttons are on the back, so while setting it I have to keep turning it over to look at the readout. Another drawback of that is that if it's folded up and laying flat, it's easy to bump the "Alarm on/off" button without knowing it.

Tick Tock Rrrring
Does the job. Found my original wayward clock not too long after getting this one but am still using this one. Wasn't too hard to set up. Gentle ring.

Travel clock
It is a very basic unit and works well for travel. Lightweight and small. I have not used it for travel yet but I don't see any reason why it won't work.

Works as described, but light is dim.
seems to work as described, back-light is very dim and doesn't do a very good job of illuminating the face of the clock.

Great little clock.
Bought a different product first but this was much better. The others stopped working after days this one still going strong.

Extortionate and useless
I cannot believe anyone has given this 5, 4 or even 3 stars. It is a chronically overpriced piece of Chinese rubbish that is not fit for purpose. I might have been happy if I'd paid 99p on fleabay (including shipping from China) - but Β£13!!. As others have said the alarm is useless - it really is! It emits the most quiet little beep you have ever heard, and you need to listen for it. This was bought for my 16 year old niece: well, absolutely waste of time trying to wake her with this And then the buttons on the back - fiddly prone to being pressed when "travelling" - and a right old fiddle to use to set the time/"alarm". I rarely leave reviews, and rarely buy rubbish like this, but this is just pretty awful. Returned, of course. Just bought 226/8974 (Seiko) from Argos - recommended - wow what a difference.

If you live miles from traffic you MAY actually be woken up by this alarm...
It's portable, easy to use and has a three-second backlight when you tap the top. No ticking sound to disturb your sleep but, it has to be said, it has the quietest alarm you've ever heard (or not for that matter). I live in an urban area and the omnipresent sound of traffic easily drowns this apology for a wake-up call. Given that the purpose of this item is to prevent you over-sleeping then I suggest you look elsewhere.

Tricky to reset and gone wrong in less than a year
Very difficult to "re-set" eg when the clocks go forward or back and has now gone completely wrong ( less than 12 months old ). In fact it went wrong about a month ago ( display jumbled ) so I thought it needed new batteries. I managed to reset it but it has now gone wrong again. Probably not worth trying new batteries again ( nearly cost as much as the clock ).....

Could be good or bad, depending on intended purpose
"Could be good or bad, depending on intended purpose" is my headline for this review. I like the small size, although the controls are a bit fiddly. If all you want is a neat little clock to tell the time, then it's great. However, be warned: don't use this alarm if you have a plane or train to catch! The sound level is quite pathetic and cannot be depended upon to wake you up.

perfect!!
Great little clock, this is more sturdy than I expected. Love the colour, the alarm is not deafening (take note clock makers), it's very compact and does all it's supposed to do. Gentle backlight, just right for nighttime when you don't want to be dazzled, simple and intuitive operation, perfect for travel or as a permanent fixture on bedside table.
