I was looking for a world time starter watch, since I wanted to join the military this year. This watch has exceeded my expectations. I love the colors, they are very sleek. And it was easy to set up upon opening! The most useful feature for me is the daylight savings time, and the ability to see other time zones. I would recommend this watch!!!

Like the different color on the world map. Beep is so-so, easy to setup. Almost weightless. Like it more than the Casio AE1200WH, NOT Illuminator, light (1 or3 secs) is not good, as it stays mostly in one section. Also for my old sight if not bellow a light source, it is hard to read. Timer and Chrono are excellent.

I have had the black version of the watch for roughly 10 years and recently bought the gold one when the battery died on the original. I have a few cheap watches that I cycle through, and this has been the best one. The band didn't even break over its long service life. For $20-25 dollars it really is an incredible value, in my opinion it blows all of the other cheap Casio's out of the water, including the F-91W. I live in the USA and both of the AE-1000s that I owned were made in Thailand, not China.

Great. Does like 10 things and the battery lasts about 1 year w/ no daily-recharge like a smart watch.However the "folded-link" design of the band is a nightmare.Unless you have Reacher-sized wrists it is almost impossible to resize if you need 2+links out of each side, even with a very strong steel ~1mm punch.Solid link+pin style bracelet superior to the type on this watch.Kind-of a weird bargain if the work on it from a pro to resize would exceed the purchase price and buying watchmaking tools to DIY gets close.I lucked out and had a punch on-hand, but still really Fugazi bracelet engineering.Also case trim is silver plastic, not metal. -A little disappointing & would have paid a bit more if it were metal.
