This AMT stainless steel straight centrifugal pump has a self-cleaning impeller that handles semi-solids up to 1/8" diameter, a pull-from-rear design for servicing without disturbing pump housing connections, a fill and drain plug for easy servicing, a discharge port that rotates at 90-degree increments for flexible installation, and Viton (FKM, fluoroelastomer) mechanical seal and O-ring for resistance to corrosion and chemicals. Pumps use mechanical action to move liquids, gases, or slurries (solids suspended in a liquid or gas). The mechanical action is categorized as either positive displacement (PD) or kinetic.
