A Harry Potter fan must have!
I love this game. I own both this edition and the first one. If you're a fan of the Harry Potter movies or books at all this is a fun game to get together and play with friends or family. The card questions and video clip questions range in difficulty and variety. You never know what to expect to be asked so it makes it more entertaining. My favorite questions are the "Muggle" questions where they ask about the actors and their lifes. It's pretty fun. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who has seen the movies.

Lots of fun for the Harry Potter Fan!
This particular Scene-It? Harry Potter Edition is a lot of fun. We really enjoy playing it as a family. The questions run from easy to hard, so it's challenging for those of us that aren't die-hard Harry Potter fans! The film clips are fun as well. We really enjoy the Scene-It? games, and this was no exception...

Great fun for the whole family!
We love all these DVD interaction games. Huge Harry Potter fans (of the books and the movies) we really enjoyed this. Though some category of questions were very hard for us, even as movie buffs, because all the actors in HP are from the UK (we sucked at those questions). Also, we found it hard to keep straight if we were remembering facts from a movie or the book. Additionally, my youngest son is autistic, and not usually so confident at competitive things, but he excelled at this (the memory)! :)

Fun But Somewhat Frustrating
I was very excited to find this for sale because my girlfriend and I had been looking for it for quite some time in every store we entered. We are both big fans of the Harry Potter books and the Harry Potter movies. I have read them all twice and she has read them all at least 3 times, and we own all 5 movies. However, playing the game can be a bit of a trying experience. Many of the questions are simply too obscure. Perhaps they are aimed at the totally obsessed Potterphiles. Or maybe I am just too confident in my knowledge of things to admit that I'm not very good at this game. Either way, many of the questions are related to the names of actors who play minor roles, or about the slightest production details that only someone who is completely obsessed with everything Potter would have the slightest chance to know. Obviously, if the questions are too easy the game is no fun, but the same goes for when many of them are simply impossible.Still, the game is fun to play for the most part, and as long as you go in prepared to be absolutely clueless on a large chunk of the questions, you can still enjoy it.I would recommend this only for fairly hardcore Potter fans, though, as casual players will likely be very much in the dark on much of the content. It seems that just having seen the movies is not enough.

Love it-
Awesome- it's not the earlier version, nor the full version. We already have the first one, so this is a nice addition to that; different dvd, cards, board, pieces, and a cute collector box. Some questions and scenes are the same or similar as first edition But for $20, it's got enough. If it were priced higher, I would have a different view.

Loved it!
My son is very into Harry Potter, both the books and movies. We had so much fun playing this game (only played it once so far). It feels like there are endless amounts of questions so we will not get bored. It's a great way to get back into the Harry Potter series after being sad once the books were done and the movies were watched (several times). Would recommend it to any Harry Potter fan.

Could be a lot better
First off, all of the traits of Scene It apply here, meaning it is a bit contrived to begin with, you'll need to be near a TV and DVD player, and someone needs to know how to navigate the DVDs. I almost think the all is already reason enough to shave a star, but I suppose if it were all well done, it could be justified. It's not.Beyond some of the issue with Scene It, the question selection ranges from idiotic to asinine. While that's a remarkable range, it's not fun to play. One player gets some random question on a little known British actor in a bit part and another gets a simple question that can be answered by anyone who watches the clip that serves as a clue. Throw in the additional random luck of the dice, and it really becomes little more fun than just playing a dice game. Heck that would involve less space, have a simpler setup, and cost less.In regards to the Harry Potter content, it's based on the films, and does little for readers of the books, but it also manages to reward die hard fans of the movies. Gosh if I was going to make it based on the films, I would focus on stuff even those who aren't die hard fans would enjoy, as if I'm hanging out with a bunch of Harry Potter fans, playing this game is not my first choice for an activity. It shouldn't be yours. Heck, I'd rather watch a movie or listen to Jim Dale.
