Light, cool and warm at same time, love the breathable fabric
A must! We love the breathable muslin. The halo is safe and the best brand for sleeping. Our baby used it from 5 weeks to 18 weeks. We used the halo newborn fleece saddle blanket which the hospital send home with each baby in Vail Colorado. We also have the halo cotton in pink, this is also a favorite for comfort. This beats any swaddle out there and we don't swaddle her. She stopped that at 5 weeks. We just wrap under her arms but love the super long length of this halo design. The feet have run the kick. I like that. They are made big. We use the small still. We have a medium ready to go next. Recommended to all moms. We the have halo cotton without the swaddle, the are comfortable and super soft. We love them! The are roomy and fit great around the arms.

Best swaddles money can buy!
We tried all kinds of options for night time "pajamas" for our preemie baby. She was difficult to get to sleep at night for even an hour until we found the Halo swaddles! These are all she will sleep in. Currently she is using the cotton swaddles, and they are a little heavier for the colder weather. I bought the muslin with the summer months in mind as she will only sleep if she is securely swaddled, and the cotton i feel will be too heavy for the southern heat. The material pattern is darling, and the feel and weight of the fabric is perfect for warmer months, soft and lightweight.

Lightweight and perfect for summer months!
Love how it zips from top to bottom so you can easily up zip the bottom and let the baby's legs be free. It lightweight and worked great during the summer months when my infant wanted to be swaddled. My baby would be in a diaper with her arms swaddled and the bottom unzipped a bit to allow air flow. The zipper is plastic and the velcro did fray a bit, but overall I was very pleased with this item!

Major design flaws
This sleep sack is super annoying. After having good luck with the cotton ones I decided to purchase this lightweight one since I live in the desert and it is 115 out. We try and keep our babies room cool but the cotton swaddle was too thick even with the AC on. There are major design flaws with it. First why arent the wings fully attached to the rest of the sleeper? She is only 8 weeks old and instantly gets her arms out the holes which pushes the rest of the swaddle up around her face. See attached picture which should help you see the issue so many of us are talkinng about. No matter how many times i re-swaddle her (which is really quite annoying to have to rip the loud velcro off multiple times a night to re-do it. Kinda defeats the purpose of the swaddle in the first place), it is never tight enough. Good concept, poor execution. The R&D team needs to go back to the drawing board for this one.

Falling apart
I love the feel of the material, but it just doesn't work with velcro. One was before it was used and its practically falling apart. There are better swaddles...

So besides the fact its adorable, the price was excellent and it's lightweight (which ...
I bought this for daytime naps my daughter cannot be put down to sleep if she's not swaddled. The cotton sleepsack is too warm during these summer days, and I wanted a muslin one. I haven't washed it yet so I can't say other reviews aren't right about it nto holding up. BUT no issues with it riding up over her face. I got the small which is actually a little big on her (NB is a hair too small now) still no issues with swaddle going over ger face, and shes a wiggler she likes to get those hands out and wake up. Try wrapping more of an x shape away from their face if it's an issue for you. So besides the fact its adorable, the price was excellent and it's lightweight (which is hard to come by.) I would buy again and highly recommend.

Quality product, just doesn't work well for us.
This is well made. The fabric is light, and nice for summer, but it stretches too much and makes it hard to wrap her tight enough. She often wiggles her arms down and out, or up and out. Didn't solve my swaddle problem.

Works like a charm
We have a baby that needs to be swaddled to sleep, so when she grew out of her swaddle blankets we were a bit panicky. Luckily we found these sleep sacks which are perfect because she has never liked to have her arms in the swaddle. When we made the switch from her swaddle blankets she didn't even miss a beat. This muslin sack is very breathable and depending on the weather we eith put her in a long sleeve onesie under it or, if it's super hot, just a diaper. We recently flew cross country with her in it and she slept the whole way. As an added bonus the pink plaid elephant print is super cute!
