It's a little pricey for what it is but it's the perfect replacement the Overhead Legacy model (circa 2001). When my wall switch went out a couple years ago, I just replaced it with a old generic door bell button because I had it. It worked to get the door up and down but the garage light only came on at the end of travel instead of instantly at the push of the button like it should. This button returns that function and works just like the original. Two minute install.

The switch works great and was easy to install. Unfortunately, it was advertised as "lighted." It is not.

The house is a 1996 model and the original wall mount push button finally failed. So this was a replacement. Very easy to install, and had a nice red illuminated button, so it's easy to see in the dark. Works as expected. Price point was fair.

Have Overhead Door Signature Series. Perfect replacement.

The Overhead Door Legacy model is a rebranded Genie Series II. This is a perfect replacement for the wall button, with exact matching of size and color. The button has a bright orange light. Installation was very easy -- reconnect two wires, keeping same wall screw holes.

Replace my Overhead Door push button exactly including shape and size.

Purchased this button to replace my 1/2 working original Genie button and it works like a charm. The glowing red led is brighter than the original and the install couldn't have been easier. Wanted to give a shout to seller who provided a hand-written note in the packaging instructing to swap the wires if the red led did not shine. Thats pretty impressive in my book for an amazon purchase! Highly recommend this!
