I purchased this product in March of 2017, and SIX months later it would no longer charge and would not come on at all, no matter WHAT AC adaptor/USB connector I used to charge it. It would come on all of a few seconds and then power off. I was really enjoying this speaker and so disappointed that it stopped working. Shortly after expressing my disappointment in a customer comment on Amazon, a representative from the AOMAIS customer support team emailed me and offered to send me another speaker. I received a replacement speaker within a week and all is well. The speaker is working great, and my customer satisfaction has returned!THANK YOU AOMAIS FOR RESOLVING MY ISSUE!

First off, these are amazing sounding speakers when paired as a set. I have been looking for a set of waterproof Bluetooth speakers that I can put around the pool and wouldn't break the bank. I read the more critical reviews and was a little skeptical about buying this brand because of some of the reviews that pointed out issues with "Stop Charging," "Won't hold the Charge," and "Sound quality." I was sold on the customer service reviews and the company's backed product. I purchased with confidence. I ordered one at first but after reading more reviews, I order another the very next day. The speakers arrived two days later. The first thing I did was give both a full charge which took about two hours.The pairing is very simple (the instructions are on the bottom of the speaker when you unpackage it); 1. You have to shut your Bluetooth off in your phone. 2. Power on both speakers. 3. Press the Volume Up and Volume Down at the same time on one of the speakers. 4. Turn On the Bluetooth on your phone and select AOMAIS. That's it. I tried it with my wife's iPhone 8 and my Galaxy 8S, works great.I set the speakers on the edge of the pool about 12 feet apart. The sound is in stereo. When you have the speakers at pool edge level, the sound is incredible as it carries outside. I stayed in the pool for over an hour listening to music. The sound is extremely loud at 100% and the neighbors can hear them. I keep the sound level around 50%. As for bass, it does the job. If you're looking for some kind of heavy bass, this is not your speaker and you will likely be paying a few hundred dollars for that setup. The Bluetooth range in my yard is good up to around 40 feet and maybe a little more.My wife was very impressed and we both agreed that the sound is way better than our portable Bose. That say's a lot.The speakers feel sold and are good quality. I purchased the protective speaker sling cover for these speakers (one green and one orange). although the speakers weigh less than 2 lbs, it's nice to have handles so you carry them or hook them up. Note: I ordered one Green speaker and one Orange Speaker, just know, the buttons arrangements are different on the green from the orange speaker - not a big deal.I can not speak to the how long the charge will hold but I did run both for 7 hours. I will run them until they actually stop before I recharge them.I have had four different portable Bluetooth speakers, you will have a hard time finding a Bluetooth speaker that is of this quality and sound at this price. My wife and I are happy that we made this purchase.

I have been looking for something that would allow me to play the same music in two rooms on the cheap. While they are not as cheap as a $9.99 shower bluetooth set, they are by far the best set I have ever had (and I'm not young). When I say set, I mean purchasing a pair. When the two pair, the stereo is astounding. When separated, you can tell that a channel is missing, but it's the same music, way better than any solution I have ever had. The volume is amazing. I can easily drive the family out of the house when I use them in the basement. I have a friend who is a bit more sophisticated than I am, and is considering a Sonos system. I would too, if I didn't have more modest means. These do any and everything I could have hoped.I had a problem pairing the two speakers soon after I bought them, and left a message for customer support at about 10:00 pm. Of course there was no answer, but early the next day I had a call from support that walked me through possible solutions. The support was fast and professional, and my speakers were ready to go in no time. I don't usually review items I've purchased from Amazon (or anyone), but these speakers merit your consideration.*UPDATE* I have had these speakers now since mid-July. There have been a few instances where I asked for customer service, and I always heard from them. I joked that I must be their only customer as they spent so much time and attention on me. I have enjoyed showing off these speakers to visitors. My brother bought a pair (buying a pair is a must), and after seeing (hearing) them, there was a lot of enthusiasm about Aomais and their products and purchasing these speakers and the upgraded speakers. I have not exposed these to anyn water so I can't speak to their water resistance, but one of my speakers fell from a three floor deck, and but for a bit of brushing off, it worked just as before. I am thinking of buying the next level up speaker, but I have to find a place in my home where I can showcase them.

INSTRUCTIONS: PAIRING 2 UNITS in STEREO! Go to SETTINGS on your IPhone. Turn OFF Bluetooth. Turn ON BOTH Speaker units. You will hear “Ready To Pair”. HOLD BOTH the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN BUTTONS on ONE Speaker unit. It will “BEEP BEEP BEEP” when the 2 units are successfully paired. Go to SETTINGS on your IPhone and turn on ONLY 1 of the 2 AOMAIS SPORT II. THATS IT! Super duper mega awesome separate STEREO SOUND SYSTEM. These should work charged (unplugged) or while charging. Charging will maintain playtime/internal battery life. Yes!.. You are getting TWICE THE VOLUME PAIRED. You will also extend your play time at half volume. Each unit becomes MONO LEFT and MONO RIGHT when PAIRING TWO Units. It also doesn’t matter if you pair two different colors of AOMAIS Sports II such as (1) Green and (1) Orange. This will still work. My preference is (2) matching colors paired together but either way it sounds great in TRUE STEREO! Example: I can hear Lead Vocals and Drums in BOTH, Lead Guitar in ONE and Rhythm Guitar separated in the opposite Speaker unit on my current selection. It also pans from speaker to speaker if the Producer originally recorded it this way. FANTASTIC! I prefer having the speaker units 8’-12’ apart on my deck or in rooms. I truly hope this is helpful to you. Enjoy your music!

Looks great but as others have found can be buzzy and worse the Bluetooth worked for a few hours then failed and won't connect at all now. Unless I hear from support about how to get this working it's going back tomorrow. Very disappointing.Update - started shutting down spontaneously so returned item.

Loved this speaker when I first got it but now the battery doesn't last very long. It has great sound and it can't take so many drops/falls. It's nice that it's also waterproof. But I'm so annoyed that the battery has got so bad! I have to keep charging it after every little use now.

Outstanding bit of kit. So easy to sync, loud with amazing sound.Hands free kit too. I'm changing my car soon and it has no Bluetooth radio so I'm going to get another one of these and sit it on the dash and play podcasts through it via my smartphone.Highly recommended

I've had this for a couple of months and I'm really impressed. We have a hot tub and I can confirm it has been fully submerged and still works. The sound quality is brilliant and it's really loud. Would highly recommend if you need something for indoor or outdoor use

I bought two of these speakers because they can then be paired to a single Bluetooth device in order to increase the volume and play stereo format. I was a little worried whether or not they would actually do what they promised but they are a fantastic. After a bit of fiddling to get both paired to my iphone (I should as always have read the instructions to avoid the delay), they work brilliantly and have an awesome combined volume. These are really great tandem stereo Bluetooth speakers.
