After returning the first one the replacement works great.
Love the dark tint but the visor keeps popping out on the right side and the visor will be dangling off of one side. When I put the original clear visor on it doesn't pop out so I think I might have a slightly defective visor. After looking at the clear and the dark visors it looks like the tabs that hold it in are molded weird on the dark visor. After sending my old one back and getting a new dark visor it works great does not pop out and super secure. The first one I got was definitely a defect. Nothing wrong with the new one.

Light Iridium
I recently got the Revolver in gloss black and althou a great and afordable helmet as it is i felt the clear shield had to go. The Dark smoke looks pretty wicked but i was lookign for something that would not only look awesome but allow me to ride at night too. When the sun goes down i can ride in the city without any noticeable darkening and even on a dark highway i can still see pretty good (i do have HID's on my bike thou) Out in the sun the mirror finish reflection is not complete but pretty solid, there is some slight seethrough depending on the angle but overall i would say that this shield works perfectly and as i wished it would, offering me daytime shade from the sun and barely noticeable darkening at night. After about 2 months of riding the surface has also held up great, no scratches or peeling (im not sure if the mirror finish is a film or part of the plastic) and ive bumped it a few times and hit some bug going pretty fast, just clean with some soapwater and a microfiber cloth and good as new.

Better than original
Great shield that reduces glare and is perfect for sunrise and sunset. Much better than my original clear shield. Even fits better that the original shield.

Good for overcast days, beware with polarized sunglasses underneath
I bought this replacement shield for all of the overcast or misty days in Seattle. It does a good job under those conditions, as far as maintaining visual clarity and adding some "pop" to the landscape (some folks argue that yellow or orange lenses can't physically do that, so take this as my subjective assessment). I haven't used it at night, and some reviews say it is too dark for safe use at night - I guess I wouldn't recommend it, but I have done OK at dusk and beyond with a full-on smoke tint. It is a little light for full sun use, but definitely better than nothing! The orange tint to bright landscapes takes a little adjustment. I occasionally pair sunglasses with my helmet, and this may create some suboptimal distortion with polarized lenses underneath - TEST BEFORE YOU TRUST! - but the brightness reduction with sunglasses and this filter was pretty great. It is a good option for days where it might vary from overcast to sunny and you'd rather have sunglasses on hand than bring a spare visor. I wouldn't expect any issue with standard/non-polarized sunglasses. All of these visors scratch easily, so be real careful. I recommend a dedicated bag or case.On a fashion note, if you've got orange in your gear or on your ride, it adds some nice pop to the aesthetic.

easily scratched
I have not used it yet in humid weather, the install was a little tricky but not bad, you have to bend the pinlock insert slightly to get it in. the visor is easy to connect to the helmet. I was disappointed when I went our and noticed a scratch on the visor already. on my first trip with it, I did notice the Pinlock insert interfere slightly with my view, It was not a lot and I soon got used to it. I did notice that when the sun shine into my helmet it distorted my view slightly. I think this visor would work well under humid or rainy conditions but you should use your regular visor during sunny days
