It definitely works, but you're getting what you pay for. I use it to connect my desktop in my bedroom to the wifi and have used the Bluetooth function it to connect to a Bluetooth shower speaker. The little antenna doesn't seem to be adjustable in its direction, so with how the USB ports are oriented on my desktop, I have to have it sticking straight out the back awkwardly, or pointing down blocking a line of ports below it.

Third day with it, first day it only connected to my bluetooth device as a hands free thing where the sound quality was horrible. Now I can't even get it to connect. Downloaded their driver and everything. If you have windows 10 i wouldn't try using this. Im about to just buy an inside the pc pci card.

Could not get computer to recognize my bluetooth speakers even though it told me I had successfully downloaded dongle, Wasted 2 hours trying.

Bought this for a client's pc build. He wanted both bluetooth and wifi, and when consulting my client we stumbled upon this.Upon receiving the product in the mail, it looked/felt really cheap... so that's why i ticked a star off, the build quality is to be desired. as expected with the price point of the adapterThis is where things take an interesting turn though, upon plugging in and installing drivers, i almost couldnt believe the performance of this little antenna. it was grabbing the signal out of the air better than the on board antenna of my personal pc (asrock fatality z170 gaming-itx/ac on board wifi).So in conclusion, this product is a diamond in the rough. it beyond exceeded my expectations, and the only improvements it could use is an update to its wifi protocol, and a mild improvement in build quality

As I write this review I'm listening Eminem with my B&O H9i via bluetooth with this adapter. I wasn't too hopeful about this working, but for the price I was willing to take the risk. When I installed the usb antenna on my desktop PC Windows 10 immediately installed it and then was optimistic that it would work right out of the box. Then I manually paired my H9i, but although the device was added I couldn't choose it as a sound output. Then did a couple of minutes research on Google and found instructions from Reddit user CommanderKeen1864. Article titled "Windows 10 vs B&O H9i problems". Then the device worked as expected. I didn't have to install any additional drivers or software. I also was doubtful the two way audio (headphone and mic) would work but it does.I couldn't use the included mini CD because I don't have an optical drive anymore. The links provided suggested on the packaging and Amazon Answers was too much work for me. I didn't want to install any rar opener. I contacted the email address indicated on the item description and they answered within 24 hrs with a link to a rar drivers file. Then again I didn't use it because I first wanted to try without installing any additional software.The Wifi didn't work right away. I didn't do anything more than just restarting the PC. Then I was able to configure my Wifi. True, it's not a Gigabit speed wifi, but I just wanted it as a backup Internet connection. Since I don't do LAN file transfers this device speed is enough for my 40mbps Internet access.

Difficult to install. Not plug and play.

Needed to add Bluetooth to my desktop, so replaced the older WIFI dongle with this. It installed great, and it often works fine.But......it needs far longer to complete handshaking with my router than my work laptop, and my previous USB WIFI adapter...it commonly won't reconnect at all when the PC resumes from hibernation. I have to bounce the adapter...a couple of times a day, (working from home now) it also loses connection even kept busy, requiring another bounce of the connection to get going again. This without any significant time since the last round trip link to the web and back...The Transeca bluetooth adapter for my headset connects to my iPhone BT easily, and provides excellent sound. But it is pretty much unusable with this BT adapter on the PC. Which is my primary use.So it sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. If you can accept the frustration, you might be very happy with this. If having to recover your connection a few times a day, something I never had to do with my previous adapter, or it just doesn't connect cleanly with your drvice, you might look elsewhere....

i would give it a negative star if i could! this product does not work, it didnt give me a bluetooth connect nor boost my wifi signal...total waste of product and money! on top of that, it broke off in my usb and it took a bit to get it out....stick to name-brand items in electronics or get ripped off!!
