Easy to Clean. Great Silicone Option. UPDATED REVIEW
My baby and I like these a lot, though a few improvements could be made. These were the only 100% silicone option, plus their concept still strongly matched the standard food pouches, which is what attracted me initially. The only other quality silicone food pouches (I found 2 others) have plastic components. The most popular one is the Squeezy, and we didn't like them. The plastic spout is both hard and short. It is not intuitive for my 6 month old at all. Also, the food has to be very watered down to use. The Haaka pouch does not have these problems. My baby loves to eat out of these pouches and find them the most comfortable of all pouch styles that we have tried. The Haaka pouch is a bit large for a 6 month old to handle on his own. It actually holds more than 4.4 oz. The fill line is a fair bit below the top of the pouch. This is more like a 5 oz pouch if filled fully. I assume the gap is in place for expansion of freezing food and milk in these pouches since it was based on their silicone milk storage pouches designed for freezing. Also, probably because it is interchangeable with the breast milk bags, it has a threaded outside even though the spout lid just pops inside the opening. This gets messy when baby dribbles food and is a nuisance to clean but not terrible. Just use the bottle brush. I did not shell out for their expensive brush. I just have a cheap Munchkins bottle brush, and it fits comfortably, easily getting into the nooks/cranies of the food pouch. The valve lid sucks. Having already used the ChooMee food pouch toppers, I know that a secure, spill proof lid of silicone is possible. These lids do not fit tight and just slip right off. Combined with the looser valve that allows thicker foods through, it means that this is not leak proof. Store upright. I am wary of simply tossing these in a diaper bag or lunch box, which is a bit diappointing. At least the lid is small and stays out of the way, not distracting my baby like the ChooMee and Squeezy lids. Also, in order to accommodate the straw, the valve is down at the bottom of the feeding tube rather than at the tip like most spouts. As baby sucks food up, more always appears in the tube. I have tried repeatedly to neatly empty the top part when trying to put leftovers back in the cooler, and it just is not doable. Combined with that loose lid, and you are just asking for leaking problems. It's not even a good way to attach a straw since then you lose all spill proofing qualities of the valve system that are even more important with thinner foods. The shape of the pouch itself is excellent. It has folds built into the bottom which help the pouch collapse efficiently as it empties, meaning no food is left behind, and it stands upright and steady when filling with a spoon. No funnel is necessary. It stays open for drying easily as well. The spout fits snugly with the pouch, and I have had no leaks there.Haaka Positives- VERY soft/flexible silicone is easy to squeeze and lightweight. Passes pinch test.- Good medium medium size pouch- Soft valve allows thicker purees and semi purees to pass through easily.- Long, soft tip is very intuitive for baby to eat out of and is comfortable.- In theory really thin purees and liquids could be used like a sippy cup with the straw. Really nice, thick tubing for a straw; not just cheap, thin plastic.- EASY to wash. Just need a cheap bottle brush.- The attched lid is not large and distracting for my baby.- Wide opening is easy to fill without a funnel.Haaka Negatives- Wish it came in a 2nd, smaller size for younger babies, like a 3 oz pouch.- The valve is not at the tip of the spout. This means that food gets stuck in that hollow tube, making it messier for storage if baby doesn't finish food, and it is a bit harder to wash.- The straw just attaches into the open valve, so if you use it, all spill proof qualities immediately disappear. For that reason, I have not tried to use the straws.- The lid is very loose and not secure or spill proof.- Threads on outside of pouch opening catch food and are a nuisance to wash.August 2021 UpdateI left some pumpkin lentil soup in tbe pouch for about a week, and it did stain a bit. This soup had turmeric in it, which I know can stain stuff, so I am not overly surprised. The staining is not bad and does not damage the product. I am completely at fault for neglecting the pouch for so long. But since some people will be bothered by staining, I figured that I would mention it.Also, as more time passes I feel the leak proof qualities are better than I initially said. If your food as water that will separate out, that can leak, but most of my homemade purees are thick enough to not have that problem. I do toss it in the cooler and whatnot and have had no leaks since the first time I used it.

It works
Took some time for my daughter to transition from the commercial pouches to these, but they're growing on her. She can definitely squeeze them and cause the contents to come out, but if I'm paying attention, the risk is reduced. They're flimsy hard silicone, but they work. I can make my own food for her and save money instead of buying commercial pouches. They're easy to clean. Does what I need them to do .

Amazing product, BUT…..
I absolutely love this product, but there are a lot of downsides. I’ve already had one, break open at the bottom, and they are almost impossible to clean at the bottom where the folds are. I wish that they would create a tool to clean it with or design the bottom differently. It’s not a great design at the bottom. All that being said, I think it is cost-efficient and eco-friendly instead of the disposable food pouches from the grocery store. I make super nutritious smoothies for my one-year-old with fresh ingredients. I blend up avocados, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, yogurt, anything that you can think of. I will even blend up dinners to make into purées for my 6month old. Hope that they redesign this product because I use it daily and I spend way too much time cleaning it to make sure it’s actually clean. Even putting it in the dishwasher Doesn’t help.

Best squeeze pouches!
We looked around for a while before trying the two pack of this pouch. We now have 6 pouches total. Prep on Sunday and throw in the freezer. They work great for morning smoothies on the go. Any leak issues we have experienced were 100% user error. Relatively easy to clean, especially if you rinse upon finishing.

Very difficult to clean thoroughly
Liked everything about these pouches until I needed to clean them. They only open at the mouth piece which is very narrow. Even with my thin cleaning brush, this was not an easy task, and I always finish with the feeling that I couldn't get into the crevices. Pointless to try using the dishwasher unless your washer has a bottle cleaning feature. A long, thin spray nozzle that can go inside, which I don't have, is probably the only thing that would work for these.

Love these for taking purees on the go or sending to daycare
I was on the fence about buying these (pretty pricey and lots of cheaper plastic models with cute animal designs etc) but I am so glad I did! My daughter loves them and has essentially learned to feed herself her home-made purees, apple sauce, yogurt, etc. out of them. I actually use them a lot more than the bigger 8oz ones we got for breastmilk storage (she never really learned to drink out of those and we still used bottles). All have been easy to clean and held up in great condition.

Weak nipple
Baby chowed down the nipple and it’s all gone now.
