I have two one-year-old cats and a three-month-old kitten, and I'm always on the lookout for healthy food options. One of my older cats is an extremely picky eater, and I’ve wasted so much food trying to find something he likes. I wanted a nutritious meal topper for his prescription food, so I did some research and came across this product.Initially, I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but I decided to give it a try since this is practically a sample box. To my delight, all three of my cats absolutely LOVE it! While it may not look particularly appetizing, I appreciate that it doesn’t contain unnecessary additives just for appearance’s sake. My main priority was finding something healthy that they would eat, and this fits the bill perfectly.The portion in one small carton is just right as a meal topper for all three cats. The quality of the ingredients is impressive, and I feel the price is reasonable for the level of quality offered. The smell is fine—what matters most is that my cats enjoy it!I noticed some reviews mentioned difficulty opening the package, but I found a simple solution. Before tearing it open, I folded the carton along the dotted lines both ways. This made it easy to open without any mess.Overall, I’m thrilled with this product! I’ve been using it as a topper and even mixing it into their regular food. One box is enough for one to two meals for all three cats, as they prefer smaller portions throughout the day. I recently placed a larger order for the individual flavors, and I can’t recommend this enough. If you’re considering it, I suggest trying this sample box first—you might be pleasantly surprised, just like I was! Please do your own research as this is great for your cats health!

So I wanted to like Honest Kitchen but they have major manufacturing issues. I bought a case of food and the boxes were all expanded indicating spoiled food. I didn’t realize it at first until I fed it to my cat and my cat had diarrhea. Absolutely ridiculous. The 2nd time I bought it, I got a case that was going to expire in 2 months!! I was furious and I even contacted Honest Kitchen. They had the gaw to point me to their terms and conditions that said they only guarantee food to be expired no less than 30 days from delivery. How ridiculous is that?!? And they call themselves “Honest”. I don’t think so!!!

19 year old Saffron loves the food. It's cat food....it's not going to look or smell appealing to humans, so won't comment on that. My only issue is the packaging. Hard to open and not convenient if you only want to use a portion and save some for later in the day. If they were to put this in a can, I'd purchase even more. For now, I'll buy small amounts as long as she continues to eat it.

We found 5 baby kittens living in the fence next door / abandoned (we watched via video for weeks to confirm) left some food out and weren't sure what kittens had to eat since there are so many options..this brand (all varieties & types) won.tl;dr - No complaints, doesn't stink, their poop didn't stink, kittens = happy, bowls prewashed lol+ Have money? Def buy these.++ If trying to save money, I'd go with the dehydrated food, that was awesome and cheaper.+++ Save more money with their kibble version.*Minor dislike was that I didn't read the label and struggled to open at first...helps to READ :)

At last, I don't have to separate my Cat from my Kitten at mealtime!This is very healthy, human-grade food. (My last cat lived to 22 and my dog lived until 18...I think good food and no garbage kibble is the reason)
