These ball joints work great for adding additional movement to my older kits and are compatible with Bandai ball joint parts.

This appears to be based off of special joints that were in the old gundam build custom add on packs.So the overall design works and I have seen it used in high end customization projects- such as completely re making the shoulder of an old kits that did not have ANY arm articulation. You would just cut out the old shoulder, put in the large cup joint shown above, and then attach the arm to the ball joint.Even if you don't go that far, this could be used to attack extra parts into existing pegs and give them a bit of movement.The only real question here is quality control of this product.
