I have inverse psoriasis. I go to bed every night with intense itchiness in all of the areas that I get flare ups in. My itchiness definitely annoys my husband and makes it hard for both of us to fall asleep.I put this cream on tonight and I wouldn’t say it was *INSTANT!* but I didn’t have to itch myself to shreds when I got into bed so it definitely helped enough for that, and I am now about 2 hours after putting it on and I’m not itchy and I generally would be right about now.I use the just normal version of this lotion as an everyday thing to help me control my psoriasis but this stuff. Not going to bed itchy anymore is going to be such a game changer.

I have been on the lookout for a product that would equal to or better than Petroleum Jelly. I think I've found it with this product. I think this is the best lotion out there and can and should be used whether or not you have Eczema.PROS:1. Once it goes on, it lasts for 2-3 days with only minor touch ups.2. It goes on easily whether the skin is moistened or not.3. The smell isn't overpowering4. It's water soluble, so I can slug my body, but still be able to wash the palms of my hands so they don't feel greasy and gooey.5. It's FSA approved! I like to stock up a year in advance.CONS:1. It moisturizes differently than petroleum jelly. PJ, creates a barrier over the water and the skin. It's not water soluble.Aveeno Eczema merges with the water and provides a barrier that releases the water into the skin, like extended release. - If you're not careful, you can waste AE because the skin is too wet.2. It's a little cost prohibitive if you're on a budget

I had the worst flare up I’ve ever experienced and this saved me. It’s really thick and moisturizes for so long after it’s been absorbed. After using this product for a couple of weeks, my skin has almost completely resolved. Could not recommend more.

From the very first application I knew it was going to be my favorite. After second application I knew it was forever. My skin has never felt so soft and smooth and not itchy. I am subscribing to this product for life. Even if you don’t have dry itchy skin this will protect your skin barrier. I’m sending some to my mom. Absolutely love it. It has no fragrance so if you’re sensitive like me it’s not an issue.

I love Aveeno. This is my first purchase of the Eczema nighttime balm. It is super thick. It feels like Vaseline. It does feel greasy after you put it on. Obviously it is for eczema so it has to be moisturizing. I do have eczema. Aveeno lotions imo do not feel greasy after you apply which is why I love their lotions. This balm is definitely perfect for applying at nighttime to help heal your skin while you have some down time. My skin always splits due to extremely dry skin even though I use lotions every time I wash my hands and after showers. This would be perfect after a shower to lock in the moisture. I would definitely recommend. I use the silicone “socks” at night when my feet are in need of moisture. This would be perfect to use before putting on the silicone socks. The silicone socks do feel like chicken cutlets being put on your feet but in the morning when you take them off my feet are so soft and smooth. I can turn the jar upside down and it didn’t move, that’s how thick it is. I will purchase again.

The only cream that helps my dry, itchy skin. And it’s unscented, which is hard to find these days. I can not live without it!

The best lotion for dry skin! I'm a lotion connoisseur and cannot stand having dry skin. When I moved up north and my skin wasn't liking the dry winter I had to find a new moisturizer. I don't have eczema but my partner does and this was great for both of us. We use it all year long and you only need to apply it at night to get 24 hours of relief. This is the first item I've set the automatic reorder on because I hate running out.
