Satisfies
Like others say, the taste is basically "meh". A slightly sweet cereal taste. But its a healthy food you can chew on for hours. A great snack for people like me who snack more out of habit, than hunger.

Very special
I’ve never had any snacks similar as this one. It apparently comes from Korean since all labels on the package is in Korean. I like they are all separately wraps, so the freshness can be better maintained. That’s amazing that these small snacks actually contain many different ingredients, which are various grains. They are different than snacks I usually get, but I really like them once I found the right way to eat them. First I tried one as is, and it is chewy but a bit dry. Then I tried to bake it before eating. I really like its texture and tastes after baking. I’d say if you want to get the perfect taste, bake them is the right way to eat them.

Couldn't stomach down
Both my mother and I tried it and we are Korean. We couldn't stomach this down. Tasted just like bean water. It was super bitter and did not like the taste at all.

very hard to chew
I have never had Jiondigi before, so don't know how it should feel or taste like, but I love trying new snacks and do so with an open mind :)I liked that K-Herb 16 Grains Jjondigi had individually packaged snacks: it would be easy to pack in lunches, take on the go or share with friends. There is no information in English, though, so unless you know what the ingredients are, you may not want to share with people who have known allergies. The texture of this snack is very hard to describe. It feels rigid, but you can peel "strings" of it off - like Twizzlers. It is very tough and chewy, which was unexpected: it felt like it'd be crunchy, like a cracker. It's not.The taste is mild and slightly sweet, not unpleasant. One bar of this Jiondigi is large enough for a snack and to tie you over between the meals. After eating one I don't feel like eating another...It's not a bad snack, but is very different compared to anything else I tried.I wish it had information in English printed on the wrappers (especially the allergens) as a lot of folks have dietary restrictions, food allergies and intolerances.

Pretty amazing
This is my first time eating this snack and I personally think it's amazing. My family thinks it's hard to chew, which it is, but I really like the texture and flavor. It has a light sweet flavor that is very pleasant. I have to either chew or rip pieces off, similar to meat jerky, except this is all plant based. They are great as snacks while on-the-go because they don't take much space and are individually wrapped. This is one of the best surprisingly food finds I've had this year and I would completely willing to get this again.

spongy, tough, and taste like sweet potato
K-Herb 16 Grains Jjondigi Snack is definitely an acquired taste if you didn't grow up with it, I think. It is sweet, but not traditionally American sweet for a snack. Tastes like sweet potato. It is also spongy and tough, like beef jerky. I was able to easily tear it length wise, but almost pulled my teeth out trying to bite if off. It has no smell. My husband thought this was dog treats and fed them to the dogs a few days before I caught him. Needless to say we won't be buying. Not to knock any other cultures treats, but this is a review more for the non originating culture consumer looking to expand their palate. Hope you found this helpful.

Better Pan-Fried than as a Snack - No US Food Labels
The lack of US labeling is minor, but important. This aside, I can't think of a good analogue in the US for a snack like this, so I think it's worth trying if you're curious. They're somewhat sweet, but pretty bland overall, and are so tough and chewy they're hard to eat... Everything gets better if you pan-fry them in a little bit of Sesame Seed oil. They expand and turn crispy (like a chip), and the sweetness and other flavors really come out. They're actually pretty good this way... and I can totally see this being popular if this is how they're eaten, but unfortunately I can't consider them a snack anymore if you need to fry them. I think these would do better in the US market if they were broken up and pre-fried.

Like a cross between a mildy sweet grain cereal, jerky, and a fruit leather
I had never heard of Jiondigi before, though I do like trying Korean and Japanese snacks as they have a lot of things that are very different from the sorts of snacks we have in the US. After trying this, I like these. They have a subtle, sweet, grainy flavor, sort of like some cereals. The texture is kind of like a mix between jerky and fruit leather. It’s tough and chewy, and you can peal it apart. It’s definitely not something that is going to appeal to everyone, but if the idea of a sweet, malty, corn cereal turned into a jerky/leather substance sounds good to you, you’ll probably like this.
