Nice
It was the perfect size. I had trouble with the very last holes on the very top. The holes didn’t line up and the bolt would not pass through. I had to run a drill through. I am using it as a small trellis in a patio planter.

A decent rack with some homemade help
It's decent enough for the money, but.........First, the instructions, such as they were, did help, but in assembling it I found them somewhat counter-intuitive and assumed the two drilled arcs would attach at the "pinch point at the top, rather than at the bottom, They don't.Second, I decided to go with a suggestion I saw in another review by Joe K. and installed a homemade spacer at the top, seeing no reason to have it pinched together. (I used a leftover piece of metro shelving upright and two wood screws that held well in the plastic ends, Joe used a piece of wood) (fig. 2)Third, whatever kind of coating is on the metal, it scrapes off at the slightest rubbing against anything except, I suspect, carpeting. I assembled mine on the patio and learned this lesson very quickly. I had some small rubber "feet" in a kitchen drawer from something or other and screwed them into the bottom (fig. 3)Lastly, I had some black Rustoleum Spray Paint left over from something, and before filling it applied several coats to cover the scratches, the screws and nuts, and anywhere it was likely to receive abrasion from the wood or whatever. Easier to do it now than later, and I can assure you this will rust.I did buy the IC ICLOVER Firewood Log Hoop Cover which seems fine and covers well even with my modifications.

since you never get the feeling it's going to be sturdy until it's completely assembled and you've loaded some logs ...
It's shocking that this log holder does hold up well, since you never get the feeling it's going to be sturdy until it's completely assembled and you've loaded some logs onto it. But it works well! However, like many others noted, there is definitely room for improvement in the assembly instructions. I read through some reviews first, making note of their "eureka!" moments, and I was fully prepared for the twists and turns. I knew I was going to fly through this in about 15 minutes. Well, add an extra 45 minutes to that, and I was completely humbled about my ability to follow directions or figure it out on my own. For anyone else interested in buying this, here are the best pieces of advice I can give on assembling this item.1- Do a dry run first to connect the 6 curved pieces that form 2 circles of steel. This was my biggest obstacle. Each piece that connected to another seemed to have burrs where the metal was drilled for the screws. These burrs prevented the pieces from sliding into the other piece. If you follow the directions completely, you'll connect the bottom curve to the frame, then connect the other two pieces to the bottom piece to form a circle. But, in my case, the burrs prevented the other pieces from connecting. I couldn't get the leverage needed to force them together until I unscrewed the bottom curved piece from the frame, then connected the circle together, and then connected the circle to the bottom frame.2- This is a given, but.....never tighten the screws too much until the unit is assembled. I failed to do this. I was so proud of the fact that I was almost done (after I repeated step 1), that I tightened everything up before I was finished. The final step to assembly is to screw the top of the 2 steel circles together. I had tightened things so much, I had about a foot of dead space between them and couldn't get them to budge any closer for me to install the screw. So, once again, I loosened the screws up, installed the last screw, and then tightened everything well. For the price, it was worth the hassle. I would change my rating to 5 stars if the pieces were better fabricated.

Better than expected
product :re info Panaceafrom added PicI bought 2, to keep enough firewood inside house that could last a wknd if needed. I was pleasantly surprised that they're a bit larger than I imagined, & they fit in the room just right. I was confused by the fact that one of the screws was a bit too thick to fit any of the holes while assembling, &, I wasn't happy about no help from Amazon for this. I just took one of what I needed to hardware store when I was able & bought what they had, only silver, but it's ok as basically unseen. A bit awkward to assemble, but it could be me. I was glad I bought them. They look better than expected & hold good amount of wood. I use the lower part that's outside of the circle for thinner pieces, kindling-like. Thank you!

Looks great and works well
The wood rack looks great and really cozies up the room. It was a pain to assemble but once it's done it works great. It also holds a decent amount and resembles a giant wood cradle. Really happy we bought it.

Perfect size
Love it! Perfect design to finish off the space. If you have a smaller stove, just make sure you have longer logs for the bottom or else the will fall through.

Difficult to put together but very good otherwise
I love the look of this log holder! However, it was a nightmare to put together. It should have been simple but the holes didn't align in two places so I spent a lot of time sanding and drilling, trying to make them close enough together to get the bolts through. This was especially difficult as I don't have much in the way of tools and hardware.Once the pain of construction is gone, this becomes exactly what I wanted. I've had it for a few weeks now and it can hold a lot of wood, looks great and the gap between the bottom and the floor makes it very easy to clean up the wood chips and ash. Perfect!
