These are the standard leaf bags for the Polaris 380 pool cleaner. We who live in the desert need the heavier duty Sand and Silt bags with the zipper closure. The bags are thinner and don't last very long - They are easily punctured by a twig or sharp leaf because it is pressure that sweeps up the dirt, sand and leave into the waste bag.

My Polaris bag weakened to the point that it was pushed out by the water flow. I needed a replacement so I went to the only place in Southampton that might have one. The store rep brought me to the area where they were displayed. He did not know the price but apologized for what it might be. Apology accepted, the Polaris bag cost $56.00! One bag. These bags I believe were less than $20.00 delivered. Fits well and works well. Sorry I used the Polaris bag but glad to find a sensible replacement.

These are good enough.But, the zipper becomes an issue with leaves and dirt. I prefer Velcro type over struggling with these.

This is a good product and it is great it comes in a 2 pack. This makes it a lot easier to maintain the pool.The only drawback is the narrow passage from the plastic part that connects to the cleaner to the bag itself. Large leaves get stuck there and the bag remains mostly empty.

One of my old Polaris bags kept popping out of the clip holder and the other had a hole in it, so I replaced them with these. My pool is uncovered and near some trees, so my sweeper gets quite a workout. I've used this bag for a couple weeks and so far with excellent results. The mesh is pretty fine, so they retain smaller stuff. These are notably larger than my old bags and hold a load of leaves - less emptying. I really like the zipper - it's much longer than the Polaris' velcro opening, making it much easier to empty; and the zipper isn't getting are crudded up with dirt like the velcro did. Some reviewers noted a problem with them inflating when the sweeper gets above the waterline and then causing the sweeper to float. I have not had that problem at all. My sweeper does go above the waterline sometimes and the bag does fill with air, but I've watched it go back into the water and the air escape from the bag and the sweeper goes on it's business. Quite happy with these and the price is hard to beat.

Yes it traps air and floats but I just open the zipper about a half inch for air to escape slLove it has zipper and a Velcro strap to attach to hose

The value is great, but crud always gets stuck in zipper. The zipper leaves a slight opening at the end, and the Polaris doesn't sink well and run the floor of pool well at all with this. Save yourself the headache, time, and money buy just investing in a Genuine OEM bag every year or two.

Sturdy, simple to install, zippered back makes it easy to dump debris.
