Naturepedic Organic Cotton Pillowcase, Junior

Fits the Naturepedic Toddler Pillow. I just wish it were maybe a little softer and sturdier. When you wash it, it shrinks and gets very wrinkly and you're convinced there's no way it will fit! But then it magically does. I felt a little ridiculous paying $25ish for a piece of fabric sewed into a square, I'm not gonna lie. But at the same time I've very pleased with it and glad my son's pillow has a cover on it that fits and is organic :)

I bought this because I had bought an Ikea toddler pillow but was told my local store didn't carry the pillowcases except as part of complete bedding sets. The stated dimensions of Naturepedic case are an inch shorter than the stated dimensions of the Ikea pillow but this nonetheless fits well. I've since found the Ikea pillowcases sold separately, which are not quite as nice but much less expensive.

I haven't had the pillowcase very long, so I'm not sure what the wash quality will end up being like. The initial wash went well. It is more of a beige/natural than a white of any sort. This is was I was going for, so that works for me. It fits the appropriate sized pillow well and is soft.

I like that they're organic. I ordered two, they were from two different dye lots so one was lighter in color than the other, noticeably. But, I really found that if I"m willing to look beyond "organic" that IKEA has fabulous pillow cases for toddler pillows, and extremely cost effective. They feel just as nice to the touch and are super friendly on the wallet.

I was surprised that this is too big for a Toddler Pillow. I ordered the Natura Organic Baby/Toddler Cloud Pillow and this pillowcase to go on it. I was surprised that this pillowcase is exactly twice the size of the toddler pillow.

It feels a bit rougher than I was expecting for this price, and being a premium linen. That said, it fits the junior pillow perfectly and does it's job. Would be nice if they got some organic dyes and started offering different colors.

This pillow case is only 250 thread count, and not as soft or smooth as I'd expect from a $15 pillow case. But, it is organic and it does the job for our daughter's little pillow.

shrunk more than expected when it was washed, but very nice quality fabric. of course, i don't know how big a junior pillow really is since i was using this to make a halloween costume.
