Date Nights are Fun - AGAIN!
My wife and I LOVE to play games together. Since we're both working from home fulltime, we take time during lunch to pull out a game. The DateBox Mini we got for those Saturday nights after the kids go to bed and we're in the basement watching a movie. Sometimes the movie is background noise, so we pull out a game and enhance our relationship. The DateBox mini is a great set of challenges that are physical and mental. You'll be challenged with naming the US States or picking up die using only chopsticks. Word of note...don't attempt to do these challenges on carpet. The kit comes with a series of Solo cups (for Beer Pong sans Beer), die, chop sticks, challenge cards and sand timer. One person pulls a card and then reads the challenge. Then both people attempt to do the challenge...winner keeps the card. The challenges are fun and sometimes frustrating, but overall a whole lot of fun. In the end, whoever has the most cards gets the coveted Trophy. If you're competitive like my wife and I are...then THAT is a big deal and carrys a LOT of weight.Overall Impression: If you looking to add some fun to your relationship and make date night more challenging, then this is the box for you.

Great competitive game
This was a tricky game to understand but once we got the hang of it we were smooth sailing. Great competitive couple game for date night/couple night. Worth the money.

Introspective
I think with these types of items, it really comes down to the couple's commitment to investing some undivided attention and just have fun with it. This isn't meant to be riveting or groundbreaking by any means, but it's a good conversation starter that creates an atmosphere that might not ordinarily exist. Approach it with a sense of spontaneity and humor and it'll be well worth every penny - it's genuinely what you make of it. A lot of the supplies are very 'novelty quality' (similar to that of disposable party supplies), but I think the actual game concepts are where you get the bang for your buck.

Some fun stuff, some a little boring.
I got this for my wife and I to have date nights at home. I was hoping there would be more of the physical activities more than the talking cards - we've been together so long we can't remember half of what we've done together. Overall it's fine, but if I had to do it again, I might consider other options.

So much fun!
What a fun night! I would love to see the full size version of this mini box because it was a blast! However, keep in mind that there are some things you'll need before you can use every card such as oreos and skittles. You'll also want a table that you can circle around. But, once you have that all down, it's all fun and games from there! May the best partner win. There are different kinds of activities, too, like naming the states, different drinks, flipping cups, bouncing balls, etc, so there's something for everyone in here!
