Excellent sound quality
There are loads of these on the market but I went with this one as it had some good reviews. We where using a tablet to put white noise on for our 2yr old, but if the Internet goes down or the video ends it would cause her to wake up!This sound machine is perfect! Compact, easy to use, nice buttons and a really good speaker. Looks nice on the shelf. It remembers your last used setting so you just press 'on' and it's going. Loads of different sounds if you don't already have a preference ( we like rain or white/brown noise)This has really helped our daughter sleep longer and better, less waking in the night and its super reliable. It has a constant setting so it just stays on till you turn it off. We will be buying one for our room next as we can't sleep without white noise since having our daughter in the room when she was a baby!Very happy with this little machine!

Fantastic
We’ve been using this device for a week now and absolutely love it. It’s been of great help when it comes to putting my son down for a nap, as he enjoys drifting off to sleep listening to white noise. This device has 21 soothing sounds ranging from baby melodies, white noise, fan and nature sounds. Not only is it a great device for bedtime but throughout the day around the home. It’s lightweight and portable making it easy to swap from room to room. One of my favourite features is the built in memory function. After using the D8 machine and having turned it off, the device will remain on the last played melody and volume.I’ve found these sounds to help relieve his restlessness and to let him calm down and fall asleep easier. We both enjoy playing on his mat with the sounds playing in the background.Overall it’s a great product and super easy to use. I would certainly recommend this to all of my mummy friends ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good for masking mid-range sounds, not so much for anything else
I'm a very light sleeper, I work nights, and I live in a very noisy household and neighbourhood. I absolutely require noise masking to get any sleep at all. I have a tower fan wedged up against my bed running all night long. The sound of the fan usually covers mid-range frequency noise like people talking in the distance, but it's the bassy vibrations against the bed that help block out pretty much everything else.Unfortunately, this product only covers the former. The thing you have to understand about sounds is that lower frequencies are harder for white noise to block. Examples of low frequency loud noises include: Barking dogs, masculine voices, the bass rumble as from a television or music speakers, slamming doors, and car horns. As you can imagine, these are also the sounds most likely to disturb sleep.I haven't found that this product is a suitable replacement for my tower fan in obscuring these sounds. The speakers have absolutely no bass whatsoever, as far as I can tell. And it's really well-made with little rubber feet that would block any vibrations it did happen to create from travelling into the surface it's sitting on. I think that could be a boon in most cases, but that's exactly what I didn't want it to do.With that all said, I really enjoy the breadth of options and the ability to run it on USB power. It's useful for studying and filling the room with pleasant sounds if you're trying to curb your distractions, which as someone with adult ADD, is not unappreciated at all. However, if you have the same issues I have, I would recommend looking for a white noise machine that is fan-based rather than speaker-based. This might help babies but it's not for heavy duty noise cancellation.

Baby loves this
My first born has had this in his room from 6 months old. We only use the sshhh noise on it as that's what he preferred. We still use now but on the 30 min timer. The options of noises are great, the varying timers are ideal for slowly getting them used to not having it on.
