The different colors definitely makes it easier for sensory kiddos to master shoe tying. The width of the laces, however made threading them in to the shoes a bit of a struggle.

My daughter is 9 and has struggled her whole life with fine motor tasks. Tying her shoes has been especially challenging and she avoided it. I got these and sat down with her and within 30 minutes she was tying her shoes. What's more is after a few days she was tying her shoes with regular laces and doesn't need these anymore. Having the 2 colors truly made a difference. They are a bit thick but otherwise great.

While these are a good length, they are too wide to fit easily through the narrow holes in the Nike sneakers my daughter currently has. As another poster also mentioned, they are made from a material that is very slippery and comes untied, even when double-knotted. We have gone back to the Winans Imaginative brand of bi-colored laces, even though the shipping is not free.

The shoelaces are adorable until you use them. The dye does not penetrate the shoelace, so once you start using them the white laces come through. Bought two pair before I realized this issue. $16 wasted. Save your money and dye your own shoe laces.

I love these two toned laces. They are cute colors. They are bigger than normal shoe strings so little fingers can grasp them better and learn how to tie shoes.A good purchase for little ones learning to tie shoes. I do think the price is a little steep.I received this product at a discount for my unbiased review. Thanks
