Helpful for spiritual growth
This book of devotions follows the Revised Common Lectionary schedule of scripture readings. Each week's devotions are by a different author and begin with an overview and questions for reflection. The devotions run from Monday to Sunday so the reader is prepared for worship on Sunday. I have used The Upper Room Disciplines for many years and find it helpful for my spiritual growth and my understanding and appreciation of the scriptures.
