Neo-Noir (Film and Media Studies)

This is a collection of analyses/readings (e.g., sound scape) of neo-noir films as a genre. I was hoping for a bit more history of this genre, e.g., it's development from classic noir, but this collection takes the genre as a given and provides analyses/readings of different elements of the genre. One can extract some history but that is not what the book is about.
