Champion of a diffuser, ORDERED A SECOND!
I ordered my first about 5 or 6 years ago. Still works like a champ. I used it in a family house as a full time bug repellant, since the house was rarely used. I difused peppermint to repel spiders, (bad for dogs, careful for your fur buddies), clove and orange for so many other bugs. I had a bottle last a very long time, and I mean over a year at my settings. This is one you don't put a few drops of oil with water. Just oil(s) in the bottles provided or from your E.O. collection. This diffuser let's you dial in run time for a few minutes, rest time in between up to 30 minutes, and intensity of misting. EXCELLENT. Has run like this for 5 years or more. Now I have an RV and I got an identical diffuser dedicated to the same task as well as just keeping it more pleasant and even therapeutic. It is louder than some of the water based diffusers, but quieter than my worst. I don't care, it does a job a water based diffuser can't and does t for months.

Best ever…
I have been on a two year expensive journey trying to find a device/candle or otherwise to give consistent scent. Top $$$ candles, various Pura devices, diffusers (ultra sonic and water)…all fails. This diffuser is by far the most unattractive but I’m in love. I like that I can set up how long it puts out scent and how long it rests between scent dispersant and then how long I want that cycle to go on. Some scents have stronger throw so I don’t need it to push them out as often. It take a bit to acclimate to the settings but it is an enjoyable journey. It is loud but comes with a silencer I highly recommend putting on. Mine is on my bedside table and I am a light sleeper. Both the dogs and myself are not at all bothered by its rhythm. I like being able to mix my oils into the little bottle. I typically only fill it about 1/4 full and it last for about three days of use. I mostly run in the am while I get ready and then in the evening when I’m in the room. Thinking about getting two more for kitchen and entry. Lastly, it is easy maintenance; just running with some alcohol for five minutes when I change scents.

Convenient and Durable
Easy to use controls to select how many minutes to diffuse and how many to rest. There is also an outflow adjustment and you can turn it way down (thereby conserving the oil usage) and still get therapeutic value. We had it on the lowest setting and after an hour of on/off diffusing at 10 minute intervals, the room had a very light but pleasant aroma. The best part about this diffuser is that it comes with two bottles and screw on nozzles. If you are just diffusing one oil, you can simply put the nozzle on your bottle and attach it to the diffuser. Or you can mix oils in the bottles provided. Super easy to use and keep clean. This diffuser does not use heat or water and it's ready to go right out of the box. Although it is a bit more expensive then the other diffusers, the features and durability make it worth it, in my opinion.

Best unit I've ever used...
After reading some of the negative reviews, I almost didn't buy this product. I'm very glad that I did.I've used about five different diffusers over the years. Most units have their pro's and cons. This time, I elected to go with an atomizing unit rather than an ultrasonic unit. While it's true that my ultrasonic unit was whisper quiet, I was looking for an atomizer that did a better job diffusing. This unit is the best I've seen at creating an ultra-fine mist. It creates a mist that is almost hospital grade: so fine you can barely see it. This means that the particles go straight into the lungs rather than dropping out of suspension and getting "trapped" in mucus membranes, etc. The medicinal effect is much more pronounced, and the diffused EOs stay air-born much longer.I was concerned about the report of leaking. I discovered that what people are likely doing is removing the essential oil bottle from the unit right after turning it off. Don't, and you won't have a problem with leakage. Turn the unit off, and let it sit for a few minutes before removing/changing out the bottle.I was concerned about the unit wasting oil based on some reports. It doesn't. This unit is not designed to run full blast all day long. If you have a medium size room., prep the room by running it for 20 minutes before using the room. Then, use the convenient controls to reduce the time and strength. In my dedicated room, I have the unit running 24/7. I have the "run" set at about one minute, the "pause" set at 20 minutes, and the "power" on the lowest setting. Anything more and the smell is simply overpowering. When I need to use the unit directly, I simply change the settings while using it.Another complaint was residue. Well, there is no way around a bit of residue with any unit I've used. HOWEVER, consider that this unit is a diffuser. If you want to avoid the tiny bit of residue around the device, simply purchase a very tiny whisper-quiet fan. Place the fan behind the unit, angled up. This will provide ***air circulation*** which is the only way to prevent residue settling close to the device. The issue isn't the device, it's simple circulation.I've been hard pressed to find any con's with this device at all. It's nearly the perfect diffuser. Yes, you will sacrifice silence while using it (don't run it on full power and it will run quieter). It's louder than a good ultrasonic unit. However, considering the cost of essential oils, and considering that I'm using people use them for effectiveness, I don't view this as a trade off at all. Put on some relaxing music and you're all set.
