good toy but kinda easy to break
my chinchilla takes out the little sliding things and chews on the pegs that keep them in the holes. it still works even though the pegs are pretty short

Good way to have my hamsters forage. On some of them, the swiveling lid broke off!
Good way to have my hamsters forage. On some of them, the swiveling lid broke off! It was easily popped back on, but my hamster frequently breaks it off again. Aside from that, it still works well and serves its purpose.

Our mouse loved it
Great for exercising the mouse’s foraging instinct. He loves finding hidden treats and even hides the lid. Good for enrichment

Nice interactive toy
My bunny kinda broke it lol but it's a cute toy. She was very interested in it after hiding blueberries inside.

Great!
My rats love this toy. Only thing is can't leave it in the cage or they will destroy.

Functional Food Hider
Relatively small, which worked for me. I used this for my rabbit to hide snacks in. He liked pulling out the tops to get to the snacks. As you can tell, he also liked chewing on the wood. The tops are long gone as he chewed those the first day, but so far the rest of it is holding up. I can’t hide treats in there anymore, but he still likes having stuff put in it.

Awesome toy for chinchillas!
The media could not be loaded. Our chinchillas were able to figure out how the toy worked pretty quickly, and now they are experts. It gives them a little challenge to think about, but isn't so challenging that they will quit on it. Unlike some of the other similar toys on Amazon, this one is made with pine which is a lot safer for chinchillas than beechwood. While I wouldn't recommend necessarily leaving this in a chinchilla cage (because they'll chew it apart) I think it's a great toy for supervised playtime outside of the cage.
