Does the job
We keep our scrub daddy sponges on this on the side of our sink to lessen bacteria. It is out of the way and not on the sink beside the handles. We put our soap (hand washing or dish soap) on these side and I also have our paper towels there. So it stays out of the way and is hidden well.

Rub Vaseline on the suction cup
It fits the scrub daddies perfectly, even the special shaped ones. I have halloween ones I put on. I got one for my kitchen sink and one for my shower so while I'm in there, about once a week, I scrub the whole shower/bath and rinse it away. So much easier
