Naturtint Shampoo 5.28 oz

Having traveled to Europe on business for the past several years, the reviews I read on Amazon regarding the "lack of suds" didn't phase me at all. Whenever I get the time to go to a salon, I always notice the better shampoos do not lather up as well as the drugstore brands. Laurel Sulfate, among other chemicals, gives cheep shampoos their "rich lather." Unfortunately for hair color users, Sulfates strip and fade colored hair. Not to mention drying out the hair. This shampoo is gentle on the hair, does not dry it out and preserves the color. It is very much in the fashion of the European shampoos I have used in the past, but so much better. As a redhead to make it to four weeks without any noticeable fading and easy to touch up roots is a miracle. (my DH claims he can't see them at the 4 to 5 week mark; but I do ... he really is a dear for telling me that) I have tried every color refresher, color shampoo .. you name it and this shampoo used with the Nutrideep Multiplier and their Vital 5 hair mask is the best way I have found to retain color in my hair without damage. In fact my hair is in better condition now per my stylist than it was before when I was using salon color retention shampoos. The body and shine are just a plus for my doll fine hair. I use this shampoo after I color my hair with Naturtint color, but my hairdresser told me that this shampoo is leaving a waxy film on my hair. She said I should try another product. I don't know which ingredient would cause this? She said it's making my hair flat and doesn't have any umph. It does work well to keep the color longer though, so I don't know. Just wondered if anyone else has this problem with a waxy build up. I also had a bottle of shampoo that was about not quite 3/4 way full, so felt kind of ripped off after paying for a full bottle.

Was using the Naturtint Matisse for light tones and was very happy with it and not happy when it was discontinued. This new shampoo is in a smaller container so is more expensive and I did not like that it doesn't lather like I was used to. Felt like you had to use more.However, after talking with the Naturtint folks I learned that this shampoo is more organic than the former one was and hence safer. They said that you don't have to use more. So, after using it a few times I got used to no lather and have discovered to my delight that my color does not fade at all! It has been five weeks since I colored my hair and absolutely no fading! This has never happened no matter what shampoo I have used (and I have tried plenty of expensive ones).So, am grateful for this product and couldn't be more pleased!

I discovered this shampoo by accident when I bought Naturtint color (the only one clean enough to use in my opinion!)and it was included with the color set. WOW! what a great, clean shampoo that leaves hair soft but textured and even scalp is not itchy or scaly after use. I spent hundreds on decent shampoos, clean ones without a chemlab in a bottle and this little number beats them all and it doesn't cost a fortune. Highly recommend.

I have used the color for years, and just recently used the shampoo and conditioner for colored hair. Yes, the shampoo does not lather up as most - nor does it have some of the harmful lather agents that some shampoos have, but when used with the protective cream, it leaves my hair very soft and full. and more importantly, it does not strip the color out nearly as quickly. Especially helpful with red hair. Love it.

It doesn't feel quite as rich as the shampoo that comes with the hair tint. I have to use it twice to get any lather. But my hair color stays longer and doesn't fade to red like it does when I use other shampoos. It stays the rich brown that I get when I use the NaturTint Dark Blonde tint. I use it with the NaturTint Hair Moisturizer and my hair is very soft. I am mostly grey with very fine hair.

I fell in love using the shampoo (and cond) with the Naturtint hair dye. I bought a bottle and did not quite feel the same using it daily. I had to use alot to get it all through my hair and so it wasted faster and maybe because I am using it more often it didn't feel as silky.I still LIKE it and will use it just difficult to have to purchase this item online and then it runs out fast.

No more dandruff. No more allergic response. My hair is SOFT using the shampoo with the multiplier too. This shampoo doesn't smell as marvelous as some but doesn't smell bad. It is runny and the bottle design doesn't accommodate for that as well as it might. It doesn't foam as much as cheaper shampoos. It's kind of pricey for about 1/2 cup of product, too. The results mean I buy it anyway.

Used in conjunction with Naturtint hair dye, I find this product has maintained the hair colour for longer and made my hair feel fuller and shinier.

I am allergic to hair dye and cannot used ammonia or heavily sulphate based products; I came across this shampoo while looking for ammonia free/sulphate free, chemical free hair dye. I used the naturtint hair colours with mixed results last year,however I loved the Naturtint shampoo and conditioner. I subscribe to the shampoo, it leaves my hair lovely and soft, even without the separate conditioner. I do have soft hair anyway, and I do not add any other substances to my hair, so I can say that it probably works best on l on untreated hair.

This is ok for a sulphates free shampoo, but there are better ones out there. Also if you live in a hard water area as I do, you wont get any lather.

Great product, but needs to be used with the conditioner otherwise it leaves your hair feeling a bit tangled. Hair feels in much better condition.

The only one I can use nowadays without intense scalp itching and redness. Very good for sensitive scalps. I use the hair dye and multiplier too (conditioner)
