Trader Joe's Clarified Butter (Ghee), 8oz.

It came to me in a timely manner. I use it for cooking, as flavoring to my foods. It is easier than melting butter.

Glad to be able to get what I need for a ketogenic diet off of Amazon but this is a lot smaller than what I thought it'd be.. I am not good at understanding sizes of things, so that's on me but to help anyone out, it's smaller than a standard jar of jelly and larger than like a canister in the 3 pack of bubbles from the dollar store. Not sure how much I will need as I am just starting this diet so it may end up being just what I need who knows. If you already are using a lot of ghee in your recipes you may want to like for a 16 oz jar.

Flavor not bad. Too small for the money

I bought this to use on homemade popcorn and it was delicious. I melted it on the stove and then poured it over the popcorn. The popcorn stayed crisp (not soggy) and it had a great butter taste. It melted totally clear too.

People from India use ghee to cook which is not why I had bought it because as tasty as it makes the meal it also is one of the reasons for high cholestrol and a heart attack. I used it for a religious ceremony in the house and it served the purpose. The rest of the ghee was used by my husband in his cooking when I was not watching him! Pure and smells divine. Adds immense taste to any type of food. Highly recommend but with caution.

This is compliant with a Whole30 diet which is why I purchased it. It has the same quality as the ghee or clarified butter you find at health food stores.It doesn't have the same richness as regular butter but tastes somewhat similar and can be used to substitute for butter in any situation.

I have nothing but good to say about the product itself. I use this instead of regular butter in my low carb diet to get the needed fat. If the is actual Trader Joe’s reasonably close to you, seriously consider purchasing from there. If you don’t have a chance to go to the store, prepare to pay double for availability and convenience, which may be totally acceptable. My tree stars only have to do with the price.
