Top build quality, but no blacklight!
Somehow, the black version was cheaper on Amazon than directly from Apple, so I'm not complaining. I have been using a mechanical keyboard for about a year now, and my hands have started to hurt as I do a lot of typing. I like the Apple keyboards on my laptop as they are light; this one is even lighter, and with the touch ID, it makes everything so much easier. The only downside is the lack of backlight, which is shocking for the price. The build quality is, as you would expect from Apple, amazing, and the experience from unboxing to using is second to none.

The best Mac keyboard, since they stopped doing the wired one
I've always used the wired mac external keyboards in the past, but since they stopped making them I've struggled to find a good replacement. This one with bluetooth and the touch ID button make this a great keyboard. No more wires, so its more flexible and the battery seems to last quite a long time. It comes with a USB-C charging cable, which you also use to connect to your Mac, just plug it in, accept a few popups and its connected.Only thing I think it could do with is to be a little higher, the original wired Mac keyboard was a little higher.

Excellent quality & value for money
Having mostly been a Mac user for 5 years and having wireless fine Mac keyboard, a change to wired mechanical is massive but if you know how to type you good :DThe quality of build is excellent, the feel is great, and the weight feels you can trust this will last. Also the key feel alone is beautiful, not sure what made of, but they very nice.Colour options are bit hard get your head around to do custom ones but the preset worked great for me, i turned off the side light strip and left keys on blue pushing, looks very clean.Granted its a loud keyboard on key stroke, but what you expect

Great Keyboard, but Pricey and Durability Concerns
I’ve been using the Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID for about seven months now, and it’s become a staple for both my work and home setup. The build quality is top-notch, with a sleek, solid feel that’s expected from Apple. The Touch ID feature is a game-changer—waking my computer or logging into websites with a quick fingerprint scan is incredibly convenient and saves me from constantly typing passwords. The typing experience is excellent, with responsive keys that feel great even for someone like me who’s not an expert typist. It pairs seamlessly with my devices, making it a joy for daily use. That said, this is my third keyboard since mid-2023, as the previous two failed within about 15 months and 22 months, respectively, with keys outputting incorrect characters. Apple replaced one promptly, but the other was just outside the warranty period, which stung given the keyboard’s high price. For such a premium product, I’d expect better durability. The cost feels excessive for what it is, and while the functionality is fantastic, the price and reliability issues are notable drawbacks. If you’re okay with the cost and potential risks, it’s a great choice—just be mindful of the warranty.

Premium keyboard with fingerprint sensor and number pad
Fits with the sleek Apple look, the biggest benefit that puts it above other keyboards is that it has a fingerprint sensor and is a great addition to the Mac desktop setup. The number pad is also useful if you use excel a lot/ need to enter a lot of numbers. The typing experience is the same as the other apple keyboards with low travel distance and the keyboard itself is pretty flat. The aluminium frame is perhaps a bit on the sharp side (but not enough to actually be a problem/ cut yourself). It charges with the lightning cable. No backlight which is disappointing for the price.Verdict: If you want the fingerprint sensor to login and a premium looking design that fits in with the Apple aesthetic, then it's worth the Apple tax. But if you're just looking for a functional or backlit keyboard, there's more affordable options elsewhere.

Likehack! Turkish keyboard BUT works for British!!
The media could not be loaded. Been waiting for a magic keyboard on deal forever. I realised the TURKISH one was less than a third of the price (renewed). Am a CEO of a company that can afford the full price, still it's just outragous to spend nearly £200 on a keyboard, don't care who you are.Quick chat with my friend ChatGPT told me-Keys are the same, just different labels on some outside of the QWERTY format-Just set to british englishMine worked out the box since it was charged and my deftault was set to british english.I used a label machine to print off the relevent labels, as you can see by the video it's fiiiine

Expensive but works great.
This is obviously an expensive keyboard but it works well and you don’t have any options if you need the fingerprint scanner.I use a MacBook Pro in clamshell mode connected to a monitor. My MacBook is under my table out of the way, connected to a Thunderbolt dock and the dock connects to my monitor and storage drives. I’m basically using my MacBook as a desktop computer. To fully utilise the security functions of my MacBook I have to use its fingerprint scanner, which I don’t get access to in my setup. This is why I use this keyboard, as it has the fingerprint scanner.Like I said, it’s expensive. However, it does work perfectly for my setup for fingerprint verification.

Solid
Just a great design keyboard. Light and easy to carry along. Slim design makes it great to type with and it is of course silent. I can’t even make it sound loud with agressive typing. Battery life is also brilliant. I maybe charge it every few months and it is in use 4 days a week, 10 hours at a time.
