I needed a chopping log and what I got was practical, perfect size and almost ornate

It’s a good weight of wood but there is a crack in it, i’m not sure if this is going to get worse as time passes, slightly worrying.

The delivery guy was so helpful and carried this log to exactly where I wanted it in my garden. I'm glad he did because this is so heavy I can't move it at all. I'm sure it will be perfect for chopping logs, although I haven't tried it yet.

The trunk was to be used as a chopping block to mount a log splitter on. It was disappointing that parts of the bark had been torn of presumably as it was being cut to length and clamped. The bark makes it easier to handle and lift. The damaged bark has meant more of the bark has started to shed
