I ordered the blue one. Unfortunately the umbrella was slightly damaged when it arrived (2 spokes were stuck together and brolly wouldn't open fully) however I managed to separate these and although there was little damage it wasn't significant and I had no time to return.That said I took this umbrella to Krakow, Poland where temperatures were in early 30's and it was a true blessing. I found it no heavier than a normal mini brolly, it gave great shade and protection and even endured a little strong breeze, although I'm not sure how well it would cope with windy conditions. Although this might be because my umbrella was slightly damaged.I burn so easily and avoid being out in strong sunshine but as we were sightseeing I had no choice, but armed with this brolly and my factor 50 I didn't burn at all.Now some will think it was down to factor 50, but I've burnt with just lotion before.I would recommend for the sun shy like me.

It is very compact and easily fits in my work bag, taking up next to no room. It is stylish and it gives an excellent degree of shade. I am very glad I bought it. The only reason why I have given 4 stars is that having only had it for a few days, I do not know how sturdy it is. But for the moment, I am very pleased.

I've tested this in a few countries now and it's certainly helped reduce burning in this vampire. It's pretty light to carry and small enough for a handbag. I do still wear sunscreen so I wouldn't recommend ditching that for this, but it's certainly minimised my holiday burning.

Brought this sun umbrella for my trip to India, yesterday it was so warm here I tried it out. It was a bit stiff and difficult to get up but I don't know if that was my strength. The company was very helpful when I told them about it and offered me a solution to my problem. So happy now :)

Bought for my daughter as she was constantly being caught in the rain as would leave the bigger umbrella at home so wanted something small for her bag, but also liked the idea of the UV protection to use on summer days when out at the park with her friends (she's light skinned). She loves it and has a few times told me how she was saved from burning or getting soaked. Only time will tell if it stands up to the excesses of a teenager but so far very impressive.

Fantastic sun umbella, we used it on a trip to the Windsor Legoland on a very hot day 32C ! We needed smth more to protect us from the sun as most of the attractions were in the open. Umbrella gives additional shade, lowers temperature from the sun so it does not feel as hot when you are under the umbrella, is very light, folds easily and looks very nice.

It’s very light weight and kept the sun off me really well but it feels very flimsy and quite stiff to put up I felt like it was going to break but I will only use it on very hot days so not much hopefully it will last
