Not sure this is so great...yet...
Just fully charged it for the 3rd time after discharging completely. I'm not impressed. On the third charge, I just left my phone on the table with 100% & within the next ten minutes, without using it at all, I checked it & it was already down to 92%. I did nothing more than remove the charging cable, looked at the percentage, laid it on the table & then checked it 10 minutes later.I realize I may have apps running in the background using it, but that was the reason I bought this battery....an effort to combat that crap. I have disabled quite a few things, blocked others from notifications, etc...I haven't rooted the phone, but I've got as much turned off as can be turned off & an 8% loss in 10 minutes of not even using the phone is significant to me. If it improves after this third charge, I WILL come back & update, but right now, I'm not impressed at all. The battery is draining just as fast as the 3220 mah that came with the phone, at this point.I'm fine with the xtra weight, the curved shape & I even like the cover, but the battery has got to do better on the next charge or I'm returning it.

Days NOT Hours! That is how long this battery will last!
Love the long lasting capability of this unit! I raved great things about this unit because it is a really good product the seller was wise enough to sell a great product to help promote the business! The seller didn't do anything special here other than chose wisely a fine product to sell. Getting slightly irritated when I am asked to correct a review! Either you like the review or not! I've been asked to copy and paste my review to this box, only problem is I don't know where the previous review is! Once submitted it goes into some internet limbo for me until the seller decides they themselves are not 100% happy with the fact that I took the time to give a good review! No more reviews from me! So from this point forward, I will only expect the best service anything less will get a complaint!!!!

Excellent battery, middling case. Overall good value.
Battery life is excellent. Attached screencaps are typical and I can expect 40+ hours of typical use, including 10+ hours of screen time. Waze was problematic for me with the stock battery (constant screen, often at full screen brightness + persistent mobile data use). With the TQTHL I can make most trips (6+hrs) without even bothering to connect a charger. The battery+case is large (.75" thick) & heavy (up from 145g to 260g) . More than twice as thick as a standard S5 and nearly twice as heavy. I basically went with this largest of batteries just to see what the upper limit of tolerable size would be for me. As it turns out, I rarely notice the size in use. It still gets in and out of my pocket easily enough—even seated in the car. I find it is actually a bit easier to hold. Long reading sessions, holding the phone over my face in bed for a few hours, is a bit more fatiguing but not problematically so. Unless you have arthritis, tendonitis or similar I doubt you'd have much difficulty. I do commonly use a small tripod (Joby GripTight + Micro Tripod), and this battery+case is just a bit beyond what that setup can handle. It works and I still use it, but it isn't ideal. Also the phone now looks like something from the early 90s. It is the opposite of modern & stylish. I suspect it embarrases my teenager when I use my phone in public. I consider this a small plus, but is something prospective buyers should be aware of. Lastly, the case concedes any kind of water resistance in favor or simplicity of manufacturer and perhaps cooling. There are no gaskets or even compartments of any kind. The replacement cover is a single flexible shell that wraps rather loosely over the new battery pack and around the sides of the phone. The vent holes at the base of the phone (either side of charging/data port) are enormous. Large enough for a sizeable raindrop to pass through unobstructed. I'd hesitate to use my phone in the rain at this point and if I decided to risk it, I'd want to be sure I pulled it from my pocket right side up so those huge open holes faced the ground rather than the sky. On the plus side, those gaping holes, which open directly into the large cavity that is the inside of the replacement back, are great for cooling the battery. I can hold the base of my phone up to the AC vent in my car and knock 10° off my battery temp in about 10 seconds. Overall this product worked even better than expected. 3-months in I've been surprised how little the gargantuan size of my phone bothers me and the battery life has completely changed my relationship with chargers. Impact protection is passable, ergonomics are quite good (for me at least) and I kinda like the "looks" as an emphatic statement of preferring function over form. The only real downside is the complete lose of any semblance of water resistance—but for my use case, that isn't a deal breaker.

Worked great for a few months then worthless
Purchased in October 2017 and it actually worked well until now March 2018. So Ide say its good for about 5 - 6 months. It was lasting me all day as it should with decent use until just recently now it dies within 3 hours of being unplugged. Even just being in my pocket for that time. I did consider it may be something with my phone or maybe a rouge app so I did a factory reset (it was needed anyways) and my phone runs much better now but the battery still dies within 3 hours. So Ide say this battery is good for 5 months or so then it will be worthless. But I guess $20 every 5 months isn't too bad, but I would have expected it to last a little longer than that.

Time will tell
Have had this battery for a week so far. Not getting the length of time that I expected for an extended battery. I will update later if time increases. I thought this battery would last about 3 times longer than the stock battery. So far I'm getting about a day and a half between charges. The last battery I bought was the Gorilla extended battery for my S3...that was four years ago and it still impresses me now. Passed it down to my daughter who really enjoys the long battery life for playing games. Ok...so now I've had the battery for 2 months. Not impressed with it at all. It's drops 10% after a full charge with very little use. Will not buy this brand again. Should have gone with the GORILLA BATTERY!! UPDATE----battery life has not improved over time. Charges quickly but also drains quickly. Sad to see the Gorilla battery for the Samsung S5 is no longer available. The Gorilla battery that is 4 years old in my Samsung S3 still outlasts this new battery by far.UPDATE: battery is lasting shorter and shorter time spans now. To be honest, I'm really not seeing much improvement over the stock battery. Really disappointed in this purchase!!
