Level one is just quiet enough for office use. You can hear it, but it's like a computer hum, not silent, but quiet enough. Battery holds the charge, otherwise usb cable long enough for desktop use from either side of laptop. Clip is a nice touch, doubles as a desk stand too. Very happy with purchase, use it daily in the office.

Great little fan
Very powerful for it's size. Clip fits on the top of the treadmill which was important for me. Holds a good amount of charge, enough for daily gym visits to only charge once per week.
