Both useful guide and inspiration if you want to go Thai in your home. and nostalgic return to the exotic colours and textures of you holiday. I have looked and relooked at this book and even read the text. There is a good balance of historical and architectural detail, not too much. and enough charming homes and hotel luxe to make you dream. Good value.

This is a wonderful collection of inspirational pictures of all things Thai. I am moved to build a Thai style house and fill it with everything in this book!

Brilliant book in perfect condition

Very nicely done, a book that gives a look into the most interesting houses in Thailand, how they got built, designed and decorated. To me, Thailand is the place where the word " Exotic" comes alive and shows intself best. And these wonderful houses shows a part of why Thailand is a fascinating place for Westerners to visit and live. Rich colors mixed with beautiful porcelain pieces, wood carvings, lacquer work that come alive in one room, the mixture of the East and the West that blends itself into elegance.

For the price the book was okay, except for the coverage, which was a different one. Mayble a different publishing date. I will check!
