Nice light
We have this light on a dimmer; even in the pic it is not lit up all the way. It is much brighter than the light we had before. My husband rolled up the excess wire into the cap of the light fixture. The black part of the light is a metal housing. The cords have been hanging up about 2 weeks or so and have not straightened out but I don't care. I don't think that will be the focal point. As far as the install it wasn't easy because my husband had to literally hang over the stair railing at the top platform; we didn't have a ladder tall enough for him to reach the ceiling. I'm sure not everyone will have the same difficulty. Before he installed it he made sure the lights work. We both really like it!
